Also added files for whiter teeth. These should work with any replacer mods. This file only changes what texture Gortash is using, so any other NPCs that had the same off-white teeth are unaffected.
cant seem to find an answer to save my life (might be a me issue lol) does it work in multiplayer ???? I don't want to constantly have to put it in and take it out thanks <3
Exactly what I thought. If they hadn't described him as they did, then I would have no problem with his vanilla look. But bro is neither young or handsome looking.
I see this complaint a lot, but to be fair, he is described as younger, in contrast to Ketheric who is introduced before him (and is like a bajillion years old).
If I want a gorgeous man in my game, then I'll have a gorgeous man in my game. Sorry if you don't like it though :/
Should I remind you how much Larian changed Karlach’s appearance, making her much cuter? I don't understand why you have problems with a mod that no one is even forcing you to install.
The Narrator literally calls him a "handsome young man" Gortash in vanilla BG3 at best looks like a middle aged man with alcoholism in a fancy coat. this mod is definitely more inline with what was expected. I like the character they just needed a visual tweak; by your logic you shouldn't mod the game since if you actually liked it then you wouldn't need mods.
To be fair, the first time I heard narrator describe him I took it just as him being younger compared to Ketheric because Gortash's introduction starts right after the narrator describes Ketheric and then follows describing Gortash as "younger". However, then the narrator made sure to double emphasize when meeting priestess Gut and talking about Gortash that he was a "YOUNG handsome man" from your vision. So, his in-game appearance certainly doesn't match his description in any regard.
he looked like an unwashed hobo for a description that supposedly said "a handsome younger man with a quick and easy smile". An eyesore at best, literal catfish.
"Everyone has to play the game the way I play the game because I am upset about things that have no impact on me and have to insist everyone else is WRONG." - some asshole nobody asked
Literally, ignore it. Wtf do you think we mod for? EVERY mod isn't part of the original game experience, so you really expect people to read this stupid fuckin comment and go, "Wow, you know what? TimonLeslieBerkowitz is right, I should delete the mod and play according to the whims of some random idiot I've never met! Hahaha silly me, thinking I'm allowed to customize my experience to MY liking. Wow! Thanks Timon! Idk how tf I could have possibly enjoyed this game without your imposed preferences on my subjective experience."

For a look that's truer to the original design, check out Gortash Redux, Gortash Refined or Gortash Tweaks.
