    CHANGE LOG
    1.01 - improved auto-hide version a bit. widget will pop-up instantly when mouse is over, but will stay for 2 sec and only after that will start fading when mouse is away.
    1.1 - unfortunately returned toggle button to its position from Better Combat Log 1, other I will have issues with incoming Better Minimap. But I added auto-hide to buttons as well and made it smaller for 1x and 0.85x versions.
    1.11 - updated toggle button to be in line with Better Hotbar 2 buttons.
    1.20 - updated for patch #4, loose customizable version is EOS now.
    1.22 - updated for patch #5.
    1.2.6 - updated for Patch 7. Returned vanilla combat log button logic (log closed by default). Added auto-hide toggle button (without decor so far, later). 120% didn't make it. Requires ImpUI now.
    1.2.9 - updated for patch 8.

    Hello! So, since Patch 8, Photo mode took the place of the combat log button, it seems. How do I bring up the combat log now? On the auto-hide version, it seems completely inaccessible. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Caites, it looks like this version still has ImpUI marked as a dependency so BG3MM won't let me save it into the load order. Is this intentional?

      ImpUI is a requirement for this mod.

      My apologies. The Patch Notes made it sound like it was all native now.

      Pretty cool that you got to work with them! Thanks for all your hard work.

      From my reading most of the Patch 7 ImpUI is now native to the game, but many mods still use the parts that were not made native.
      The Patch 8 version of ImpUI is just those required bits, some mods that used to require ImpUI for patch 7, won't need it, but some still will.

      Standard Update procedure, make a backup of existing game, you can even install both, & play both with good Mod & profile management.
      Generally though update only to start a new game, mod updates on the same game version are usually OK, mid play through, but updating the game underneath a modded save is risking that save. It can be done, but a full backup is recommended, before you try.

      "many mods" is 9 of mine and that's it. everything what left of ImpUI is statemachines for widgets modded in those mods.

    Would there be a way to be able to reset the combat log and clear all entries the same as when you close and reopen the game,
    When looking through data it would be great if we could clear it manuelly when we require.

    Will this mod continue to require ImpUI once patch 8 is released? I just realized that Dmjr for ImpUI is retiring as stated on mod.io. I heard from people playing patch 8 said that ImpUI breaks in patch 8

    Hello,

       First for all of your Better ... Mod there are wonderfull. I couldn't without it now :) Very good work and so hard work i'm impress.

       Else it's just to ask if you can do if you have a little time and will : the "120% Text Size" cause i have eye problem and it's a must for me :)

    Did patch 7 change how the combat log behaves by default? Pretty sure that in patch 6, it would be on by default when loading a save, but now, it defaults to being off. This occurs with and without this mod from my testing.

    EDIT: Disregard, just saw your changelog and noticed that you changed the logic. So presumably the patch 6 version of the mod was keeping the log open by default upon loading a save.

    Hi there!

    Thanks very much for such a great set of mods! I'm using pretty much one for each major part of the UI, and they
    make a huge difference!

    I do have a question though; have you had any reports about BCL2 not working?
    I've read through as much as I could in the description and stickies, and even combed the comments themselves, but I seem to be the only one who's talking about it not working at all.

    I'm currently using Patch 6 and the most recent BCL2 version before P7 dropped (1.22). Inb4 "Use latest version", this has been an issue since before the update.
    I also can't provide a good way to replicate the issue, as it just straight up doesn't work, so I apologise I can't help on that front :(

    I've also tried changing the mod type to replacer (after faffing around with the load order trying to get it to work, before I realised I needed to change it), but Vortex deploys it to the data folder in my steam install location, and will not allow me to change it.

    Could that be the cause of my issues, or do you think there might be something else at play?

      for patch 6 you should use 1.22 ofc, not the latest. why it may not work? smth is overwriting it. thick chance it's immersive ui, which uses loose files instead of paks for some reason. if that is the case, delete/rename combatlog.xaml from your Data/Game/Public/GUI/Widgets.

      Man, I've been tolerating that for so long. Would not have thought it was such a simple fix, but that says more about my skills with modding more than anything lol.
