Is it available exclusively on the ship and at sundries? I'm not seeing it with the summon tutorial chest mod. Amazing work either way, thank you for sharing your time and effort.
The sword is in the Tutorial Chest, you can find it on the ship. With the tutorial chest mod I have not tried it. try to change the mod order or deactivate other mods...
Moonblades were gifts to Moon elven families, the blade chose it's successor by a rite of passage, if the blade felt the Moon elf unworthy the blade would kill the elf.
i'll have a look but can't promise anything as i've only started with baldurs gate 3 modding and the learning curve is quite steep and working by try and error method is a bit time consuming
A legendary weapon with only a +1 and a two handed weapon dealing Rapier damage should definitely have a stronger version. Act 1 has a sword in the prologue that's 2d6 + 1d6.
I understand what you're saying, but you made it Legendary, if you want a weak version of it then make it not legendary and keep it as it was. Every Legendary weapon in this game has a +3 enchantment and is very strong, that is the point. That's all I was saying.
unfortunately, you don't understand the role-playing aspect i have built into the sword. It is a legendary blade of the elves, which disappeared years ago, and with it the strong power. It has lost its full potential through time and so it is not ultimately strong, but it is still legendary. Likewise, I have followed the concept from the "forgottenrealms" wiki and from the original Moonblade from old baldurs gate games.
Thank you for making this mod! Reminds me of my first DnD campaign I did where my character found a "Moon-Touched Rapier" that glowed like the moon. It was so cool to me! Makes me wonder if my DM had gotten inspo from something. <3
My orientation on the Moonblade comes from BG1. I'd thought it to be a one handed long sword. Not sure if I'd go for a two handed version or a scimitar as I'm preferential to the ignored long swords in this game.
Pretty sure I know the answer, but is there a possibility of having a one handed version that's a long sword. It might make Xan so excited he'd share more of his sardonic wisdom with us :)
Edit: I'd forgotten that Xan's Moonblade was a dagger. My apologies. I still stand by begging for a one handed long sword version though...
Came here to request the same thing, a one handed version of this weapon. It's so amazing, but I love dual wielding and I wanna keep doing it. :3 If there's a way, please let us know <3
dagger is already a one-handed blade, do you want the moon blade as a dagger? (if you mean the longsword version i uploaded, i can make this a one handed blade without problems or the katana?)
Sorry for the confusion. My previous post was a fun way to ask for a versatile version of your mod. I noticed that you've already addressed this, and I thank you for that :)
Any chance we could get a Long Sword version of this? Maybe with Finesse? I see others requesting similar. Flaming blue like Xans from BG1 would be a dream. Just wishful thinking, thanks for the current mod <3.

Itwould be cool if you were able to implement the progressive "Magical Force Weapon" ability that the weapons in Basket Full of Equipment. SFW version at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) have. The ability appears to allow the weapon to improve as you level up.
I have no expectations of you not to worry, I'm just thankful you made this mod :)
But yep, I’m making that model as we speak. 👍🏼 And I’m NOT going to make it monstrously huge like the in game “long swords” it will be smaller.
