Any possibility of getting the non-pak file(s) for the tiefling head textures? I’m on a steamdeck, and it’s looking more complicated than I’d like to get the multitool to work on the deck.
If you ever decide to return to this mod - it would be awesome to see a true loose replacer for other races/body types. That is, not a file named "CharacterCreationAppearanceVisuals", but something like "TIF_FS_NKD", to borrow an example from the comments. :)
Very confusing and not very helpful instructions, vortex installation worked but could not figure out how to get the textures horn removal to work. Would've loved if the texture actually worked.
In case someone wants the hornless textures for the Strong Female face to work correctly:
- Download the TieflingHead2StrongPreset.pak file and install it with BG3 Mod Manager
- Download the TieflingHead2Textures file and extract it somewhere. It is a .pak instead of loose files for some reason.
- Use ShinyHobbo's BG3 Modders Multitool (easy to find the github for it) to extract the TieflingHead2Textures.pak file. The extracted folder will be in the "UnpackedMods" folder in the Multitool folder.
- In the "UnpackedMods" folder, find the TieflingHead2Textures folder and inside there find the TIF_F_NKD folder. Copy this folder to:
(wherever you have the game installed)\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Tieflings
and rename it to TIF_FS_NKD (FS = Female Strong). Then each file in this folder that is called TIF_F_something rename to TIF_FS_something (just add an S to the file name). There should be 1 folder and 5 texture files you need to rename in there.
No matter which way or how i install this even with the texture files it still has the horns?? what do i do - nevermind! i got it. Had the texture files in the wrong place
EDIT: loose textures mod is packaged incorrectly, it's also a .pak file instead of loose files like it says. If you extract it the folder structure is:
Generated > TieflingHead2Textures > Public > Shared > blahbla blah
Remove the TieflingHead2Textures folder from the chain so the structure is
Hey! Is there any way you could export the male tiefling head 4 onto drows or any other race? I know you've probably had tons of request of this type but really, that's the only face my Tav has and it got me playing the same race over and over. Thank you either way, I wish I knew how to do these myself :(
Amazing Thanks! It could be possible, if it doesn't require too much time or efforts, to export the 7th Human head to other races, please? :D thanks a lot!!
(EDIT: I read about the explaination you gave, thanks a lot!! i'm sure i'll try it ! t h a n k y o u :D )

Download the TieflingHead2Textures file and extract it. There's going to be a .pak file in there.
Use ShinyHobbo's BG3 Modders Multitool to extract the .pak file. It'll be in the "UnpackedMods" folder in the Multitool folder.
In UnpackedMods, click thru all the folders until you find the folder TIF_F_NKD and copy that to:
(wherever you have BG3 installed)\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Tieflings

- Profit. Hopefully.
