This must've been broken with the release of Patch #2. It doesn't work with the mods folder, it doesn't work in the Data folder, it doesn't work after editing the modsettings file. No errors or anything; it simply does nothing.
Edit: I got it to work. The reason it wasn't working is because the formatting of the modsettings.lsx file is different depending on whether it's opened in Notepad or Notepad++. Everything lined up fine in Notepad++ but it was not lined up in Notepad. When I edited the file in Notepad and made everything line up properly it worked. Something to think about for all the people saying use Notepad++ to edit the file.
When I loaded up the new game everything is running good no issues with other mods (pretty much just the essentials) the only thing is it goes up to Lv 6 which maybe because I leveled up as soon as i jumped in and examined the pod and made the check. Will look into the script and see what i can do and play with the idea of other mods and how they interact.
After seeing how many people are problems getting this mod to work, I wonder why someone would even try this mod. Early Access doesn't have anything implemented beyond Level 5 until recently, so the Levels 6-10 would give you practically nothing. The only thing that I could see the game giving you is HP and MAYBE increase the proficiency bonus.... there would be easier ways to handle that.
Im having the same problem. When I quit the game and go back to it. First, I get a fast load then when it comes to wanting to continue; I get a black screen with all the options still showing. But a no go on continuing. I tried 1.0 and 1.1 but either one isn't working last time I took out the file plus I changed the .lsx file but still nothing so I had uninstalled then reinstalled. If this doesn't work again. I'm going without it.
only 10xp to level up to level 10 ? Really ? Well it's marked as "cheats" I guess .. but could you make a version with the "real" xp values from D&D 5e? or is there another mod to do this?
It does work but not really worth it since the features of those levels don't seem to be in place yet - no new feat at 8, or level 3-4 wizard spells, etc. Once those are added to the game this will be really fun though
Hi, loving the mod, only downside i've found is that shadowheart doesn't have enough spells to prepare at higher levels and so i can't level her up past 7. Is there a work around or is she just going to be a bit weak compared to the others.
Having this issue for Gale, not Shadowheart. Cannot go to level 8 because he stopped learning spells. /edit: Also cannot level Wyll to 10 because he does not have enough invocations to learn.
it might be cause i changed shadowheart's class with a mod. Basically only have 12 spells and need 13 to level up. Haven't got Wyll yet so not seen that but my PC is a warlock and it was fine with them.

If v1.0 doesn't work, try v.1.1 (all instruction are wrote in the Description of the mod)
