I somehow got the reshade to work after uninstalling it repeatedly. It snapped on when I typed the preset's name in the preset name bar when adding a new one. I also had to through some reshade mods that were updated recently to try and figure out what to do
Tried to upload a few pictures of the 5,000 I took with this filter but my file size is too big... honestly, anyone seeing this, I had never used reshade before, this convinced me and I'm glad I did. It's gorgeous.
Press your 'Home' button on your keyboard (for 70% or shorter keyboards, its usually your Function [Fn] key + A), to open your ReShade menu. Go to settings and look for the 'Effect toggle key'. Most likely you will have to make your own binding for it, but it will essentially turn off and on the shader with a press of a button
Wait does this not work with manager downloads? Usually when the option is present it kind of implies that it does since, if I'm not mistaken, you can remove that option when posting otherwise. It's ok if not I see the instructions for manual I just don't see where it says you have to install it manually.
UPDATE: Nobody panic, I'm just an idiot & forgot I need the program to actually open the files within, not open it as a notepad. Am I stupid? I did the manual download and the only thing it downloads is a .RAR file which I cannot add as a setting to the Bin file for my game, Sooooooo ReShade Can't load it in either. I do not understand. I need a file not a text document.
