    NOTES
stop asking for merges with Immersive UI, its author, Aetherpoint, is against it. no matter what's her reasoning, I will respect this decision.

but you can do such a merge on your own for personal use, it will take few minutes. find conflicting files (HotBar.xaml for Better Hotbar, PlayerPortraits.xaml for Bigger Sidebar 1/2, CombatLog.xaml for Better Combat Log), open her version and mine (you need to unpak my respective .pak first with LSLib tool) with Notepad++ with ComparePlus plugin installed, set one file as First to Compare and compare them then, add differences from one file to another, save file. Pak file again with LSLib tool (priority 21 or higher).

Better Hotbar 1 IUI compatible versions won't be updated, mod is obsolete at this point, use Better Hotbar 2 instead.

    CHANGELOG
1.03 - Trade With Anyone for IUI (both versions) compatible with patch #3 now.
1.04 - Trade with Anyone for IUI got an update to be compatible with IUI version from 09.10.2023.

1.04 - Trade with Anyone for IUI will be updated for patch #4 when author of IUI updates statemachine.xaml for patch #4 (version from 03.11.2023 doesn't have uptodate statemachine).
1.05 - Trade With Anyone for IUI got an update (forwarded IUI changed from the latest version from 19.11.2023). those two version compatible with both Improved UI Core and Dialogue.
1.11 - updated Trade With Anyone for IUI for patch #5 / hotfix #12.
    1.13 - updated for patch #6/hotfix #19/IUI from 22.02.2024.
    1.14 - updated for HF #20/IUI from 29.02.2024.
    1.15 - updated for HF #22/IUI from 18.03.2024.
6.9 - updating compatibility with all the mods for Patch 7 will take some time, stand by.

    Hi Caites,
There is a fork of ImpUI for patch 8 on nexus (ImpUI_P8_Fork), and your UI mods say they require the slim version of ImpUI. Would you still recommend the slim version of ImpUI, or is the fork also compatible?

yes, slim for patch 8 version was built for better UI mods and thoroughly tested. I’m not familiar with the content of this new fork, and since new author never reached out, I can’t vouch for it. use it at your own risk.

Thanks for the quick update of your mods for Patch 8. You are doing an astounding job!
Just a little nitpick, but in the compatibility list on the description page, you still link to the old abandoned "Damage Preview" mod instead of the current "Damage Preview 2" mod. As far as I can tell, Damage Preview 2 is working fine on Patch 8.

I'm unsure exactly how this works but i assume as these are ui / widgets, I'm playing my first multiplayer modded game with family soon.
If they use ingameMM with your mods that affect only controller and I use all widgets through bg3mm, I'm assuming thats fine for compatiblity ?

all clients should have the same list, versions included. mod manager doesn't matter.

I have a Better Hotbar 2 size 4x28 86% with ImpUI Patch 7 I have tried your mods Better Hotbar 4x22, 4x26 for Improved UI and for Improved UI Fixative, but but none of them have worked for me.

you said literally nothing to help you (where is the list of mods, mod manager you use, versions of my mods?), but can only guess that you are either using incompatible mod in your list or outdated version.

Sorry Caites, have a smooth brain question (first time editing modsettings.lsx)
Is the load order just, whichever mod is closest to the top of the file? Just cut and paste the nodes in the order I want?

normally you don't need and not advised to manually edit modsettings, you can arrange load order with IGMM or, better, BG3MM. but if its necessity, yes, you can add nodes, the latest in the file will be loaded last.

if you mean Trade with Anyone, it has its own page, updated for patch 7 and compatible with ImpUI out of box. and will be updated for patch 8  like my all mods, probably.

What I am looking for is in Multiplayer (In P6) when someone is trading with NPC.  other player can listen to that player talking to NPC and can click Trade button so 2 or more players can trade with that NPC at same time.
But now in P7 When you listening to NPC . Trade Button Greyed out. so player can only trade one at time.

Hi there. I wanted to report some issues, primarily one being related to the Paladin spell list. Basically, it breaks constantly and will end up off screen and unusable. Even before that, the section is smaller and harder to use than any other class spell section. I don't know why and I don't think it is a conflict with anything because I don't know what that conflict would be unless its a specific Paladin subclass somehow affecting the entire class. No other class seems affected. Since it's hard to explain, I took some videos. One on my "broken" save I tried to "safe uninstall" and the other on a fresh save. I am also having some other issues, demonstrated in the first video, so I am more confident they are related to the UI. I do believe I am following the correct install order currently and the issues persist, although that was not the case in the videos. Different load order, same issues, across saves and boots.

Actually, this part below was just the MCM auto sizing itself incorrectly. I turned that off and now it loads fine. Don't know why those particular pages didn't work.

Additionally, the author of Combat Extender thinks it is possible UI mods might be affecting the MCM? When I look at some of the options in there, things are reading straight down vertically like the word "throw" is read as
    t
    h
    r
    o
    w

And so the entire tab becomes pretty unusable since there is a lot there that are supposed to be toggleable options. Do you think that could be the case?

I have continued looking into this and evidently this is a Vanilla bug and so it's a Larian problem. I only made the logical conclusion it was related to the UI mods because it affected the UI and because I was having other issues directly related to the UI and those mods. Sorry about that, but it seems to be just another case of Larian screwing over Paladins lol

they are fully aware of this bug and one of the hotfixes or patch 8 will probably get a fix for it.

I was not aware of this. Is there a place where Larian publicly tracks bugs they are working on?

In any event, apologies for that report. I have just booted my game up with only your mods (and Vova's hotbar), ImpUI, community library, and compatibility framework installed however and am still seeing the same issue relating to clicking on equipment slots pulling up the wrong menu the 1st time. I also tested this with ONLY the BCPP UW 6 6x9 installed and the issue persists.

I have read and searched through your various pages and was not able to find anything on this but it may be there.  Though I do believe I did read somewhere that the various hotfixes and minor patches are constantly throwing your mods under the bus so maybe that is the cause of this problem and more. I am just trying to report issues and also narrow down any of my own possible mistakes to create a smooth experience.

This is regarding load order on Mac if anyone's having trouble with it. I'm posting this here because I found only one mention of it and that was in the Nexus Forums. If you use Nexus to download mods, with or without subscribing through the in-game mod manager, you may end up with load order issues. This came to light for me when I read the suggested load order discussed in this mod's posts. Yes, the in-game mod manager is supposed to figure out dependencies, but I don't think that includes mods not installed via the Mod Manager, or at least it doesn't seem to. Remember, I'm on a Mac, so many of the mods I want to use work but aren't available from the in-game mod manager.
The solution is to enable or tick the mods in the order you want them to appear in the load order. This may seem obvious to some, but I was starting a new run so I loaded up all my mods, "only" 36 of them, and ticked all the boxes from 1 to 36, and did not get the order I needed based on what I read here. I found the solution by searching and hopefully this will help someone who's having the same issues.

Since the mods are no longer overrides in patch 7 (if i understand what all that means correctly) and because I've seen other places where a specific load order is recommended, would it be possible to publish a suggested load order here somewhere? Apologies if I'm just misunderstanding how these function!

(Edit cause i forgor to say it: Thank you so much for making and maintaining such a huge variety of options to make things better!)

Thank you, though it looks a bit different here than what I was going with after reading the pinned Discord-message which seemed:
      Dynamic Sidebar
      Better Tooltips
      Better Containers
      BCPP

      Better everything else

      Better Various Widgets
      Better Dyeing

      Better Hotbar
      Better Inventory UI
      (Better Inventory Addon)

Mainly two things seem to have changed - Tooltips and Containers swapped places here and BCPP is now above both of those two (whereas in the Disc-msg it was listed below).

      Should I change those? 🤔

most better mods position doesn't matter, including BCPP after the last update. what matters:
      1) for showing better inventory ui tags: let better inv ui win over widgets which have slots (container and hotbar).
      2) for forwarding custom action resources from ImpUI: sidebar -> hotbar -> better ui (or bcpp/better inv ui anywhere in the list if only sidebar used)
      3) various widgets -> dyeing if you want combine widget for dyeing.

Hi pavelk, is this a correct/good load order?  if I understood your other comment right, plus order from ur compat page. I didnt see any msg pinned/etc on discord that WakeXT user comment mentioned.

      I'm PC, Win10, BG3MM, BG3SE (installed via BG3MM), game is Patch 7, hotfix 28, all mods from Nexus, File> Import into BG3MM.
Moved "Better Map Assets" (BM Icons) from Override (BG3MM put it there after import) into Active mods.

      -----
      ImpUI (Improved UI)
Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) ... (Req for MBAR)

      Dynamic Sidebar

Better Character And Party Panels (BCPP)
      Better Containers
      Better Tooltips

      Better Target Info
      Damage Preview 2
      Better Context Menu
      Better Split Item Menu
      Better Trade Menu

      Better Hotbar 2
      Better Topbar
Companions Panel And Camp Chest Everywhere
      Better Combat Log 2
      Better Maps All-In-One
      Better Maps - Icons
      Better Maps - Clear Map

      Better Various Widgets (BVW)
Better Dyeing ... (think I'd prefer this combine widget version vs BVW, so this is below it)

Mark Books As Read (MBAR) ... (Optional Req for Better Inv)
      Better Inventory UI
      Better Inventory UI - Addon
      -----

Hope you are doing well, and thank you very much for making these great mods! I love UI/QoL stuff :) <3

Hyperlite147, seems fine, at least my stuff (except you don't need to move anything from overrides to active mods, I don't know where people is getting this idea). also I used to keep MCM as high as possible for proper work, but I'm not an expert.

Since Advanced Character Sheet conflicts, do you have any suggestions for mods to improve the character sheets that won't conflict with your mods?
