I've given this mod a much needed small update, it should now be fully functional!
Only minor edits on the back end for the main file, I've reduced some unnecessary entries and decreased file size a tad, I've also removed the mod fixer as it is simply not needed.
I've fixed the replacer version and it is now in PAK file format rather than a loose file, I've also included a replacer for Astarion's Spawn epilogue outfit, though I have not been able to test it, it should work fine.
Would you consider doing a version that replaces his "new" epilogue outfit to this? I like that they gave a nod to his original outfit, but the colours they went with are just weird imo.
I could potentially take a peep and make a version! I don't know how possible it would be but I can give it a try, though I am quite busy with other mods atm so it might not happen for a little while.
Apologies for taking so long but I have now added an Epilogue replacer version, I have not been able to test it myself but it should hopefully work, please let me know if it doesn't.
Wow, thank you so much!!! Unfortunately on my current save I'm still a long way off from the epilogue, but I'll definitely report back once I get around to it. :)
Okay, I'm dumb, and don't know how to install this. I use Vortex and there doesn't seem to be an option to download/install the files separately there. I don't want his starting armour replaced, just his epilogue outfit.
Is there a way to install manually (or just have the pak files be separate)? Other replacer mods I use simply required the drag and drop into the Generated folder method. For some reason I thought this was gonna be the case with this mod as well.
Oh my bad, I don't use Vortex at all so never considered. I can split them into separate downloads instead, just give me a little while to sort it out!
Oh very sorry, I have the replacer version hidden for the time being as it currently isn't working. I'll try to get it fixed and back up within the next couple of days!
For some reason replacer version not work in my game (hotfix 8). But standalone version works fine, good to see him like before. Especially bc they change his doublet, but not it's icon.
There's an NPC, actually, who now wears Astarion's old padded armour. You could use that if you can find it in the files. A vampire spawn named Pale Petras wears it. I thought you can loot, pickpocket, or trade it from him, but it seems like you can't interact with him without them fleeing away after conversing with them. I actually prefer your version because you didn't tamper much with the name of the item/armour, unlike the other version with capitalisation errors which, only for me I suppose, is a deal breaker. lol
Thanks mucho, and kudos for the work. This looks literally a million times better than what Larian ended up going with in the latest release. Don't understand why they have to make clothing and weapons look so silly by default when they could actually look cool (like this).
Would it be rude of me to ask for a blue or yellow-quality version? I'm a total snob when it comes to gear. I typically use Basket Full of Equipment. NSFW version for all my camp clothing and armor, but I simply cannot pass up this mod. I realize it's just an aesthetic thing, because the AC provided by this item is the exact same as the basket mod, but, still... snob... you know.
If you mean the rarity, the +2 version of the armour is rare/blue.
If you aren't at act 2 and can't get the +2 version you can always unpack the mod and find the Armor.txt under public/astarioneaoutfit/stats/generated/data and edit the rarity values in the file, you only need to change "Common" to "Rare" then you can repak the mod and use it as normal
