If you are updating from previous versions Unequip and throw away/sell, long rest, save game, delete the old version first, then install the new version. (as for optional files, choose only one)
I have waffled back and forth on this one for some time. But I think I have finally come to the conclusion, that the shadow lantern should not have the moon aura buff. I really enjoy this mod on the vast majority of my playthroughs so I have happily endorsed it and given a kudos =)
May I (humbly lol) ask for an original instrument version that does not add the moonshield aura to the shadow lantern? Heck, if I may be bold adding the old early access (no longer available in base game?) "inkblot" ability would defiantly add to the shadow weave theme of the shadow lantern.
Overall the aura isn't the issue, it's that once equipped it does not go away (same for all lanterns). Even when you hide instrument the aura persists negating stealth base builds or if you just don't use it and remove it, your shadow gets unsummoned.
is there a way you can remove the moonshield aura on the shadow lantern, i just want a way you can summon the wraith without having to have it equipped as a weapon. the version that makes the shadow lantern a musical instrument is perfect but the moonshield condition prevents my rogue from being stealthy and kinda ruins the spooky vibe im looking for. thank you
Thanks so much for this mod! I have a request, if possible, could you remove the light effect from the shadow lantern and still let me equip it in the instrument slot ? It keeps emiting light and it make sneak impossible, it has the shadow summon and counters it too. Thanks anyways!
how can i disable this? i have gotten rid of all the lanterns from this mod by shoving them to the tutorial chest via tutorial chest summoning. Thia has worked for me when i wanted to get rid of other equipment for mods, i just summoned the tutorial chest, shoved them in there and poof! they disappeared for good. For some reason, when i do it here, my save won't even load. has thid happened to anyone? Is there a way to safely disable it?
Note: This mod is great and i don't mean to insinuate it isn't, i'm just purging a bunch of mods for the shake of my poor laptop being cooked alive
Any chance the normal lanterns you get from the caravan can be added to this too? They're obvi not as cool looking as the moon lantern, but I think they're still pretty cute. Would be great for my non-darkvision peeps to have a lantern with them.
does this mod work for summoning the shadow wraith with the shadow lantern? rly annoyed that i have to have it equipped as a main weapon or the summon disappears :C

Changes:
Remove the moonshield campclothes debuff from the radiating orb effect.
For the clanking metal sounds, just go to camp and leave camp. It should make the sound disappear.
If you don't see it in vendors then use this mod: Tutorial Chest Summoning at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

Thanks!
I use the mod for "some light in dungeons". Cause I don't like it if my weapon shines with this blue light.
