Really wish I could get this mod to work... but no matter what I do, no matter which version of the mod I install, it doesn't work... vendors don't have the bags, the tutorial chest doesn't have them either, and the pouch of wonders is always empty.
The mod does work it only depends on where you place them in your load order, not to mention possible conflicts with other mods. For me it works fine, just the only problem I encountered is can't get more then 2 sets of bags, not sure about the vendors yet but for pouch of wonders and tutorial chest it only spawn it 2 times for me.
Always works if placed in the Data folder But I guess that in this case it replaces any conflict with other modifications Possibly leading to some mods not working Or some other surprises In general, I would like it not to be on the Overrides modification list
I've tried dozens of setups in my load order it never works and I have put it in the Data folder it does NOT work. Also, as a few others having issues have noted, BG3 Mod Manager lists it as Version 0.0.0.0... and looking over the Modsettings.lsk file it doesn't actually show up in there and I have no idea how to add it to the file manually.
Yeah mod is built strangely/poorly it does not work. Look at the way bagsbagsbags is built it is so much more sophisticated and clean. Only thing I am interested really is the trap/disarm kit auto sorting but I was not able to get it onto bagsbagsbags
you are beautiful, i love youuu xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it actually worked, i placed two copies of the pak file both in the data folder and in the mod folder it and it worked thank you so muuuuch
FYI, I couldn't get to work for a while & gave up. After making other changes, just happened to notice suddenly bags would show up when I summoned tutorial chest. It happened that it moved up in load order (3 of 50), which seems a little odd because usually mods want to load at the end. Maybe key is to have it before tutorial chest summon?
The bags are really cool (when they work). I hope the author takes some time to update/debug because I am really enjoying it.
FYI, I also did a purge and then deploy from my Vortex (for other reasons) so wonder if that had something to do with fixing original problem.
I'm a bit tempted to see if I can tweak the mod myself for personal use but - any chance to have auto-stack and auto-sort to be enabled on all bags?
I'm currently using this "stack everything" mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1668 and would be nice to have them working together (yes, I'm aware of the limitations created by different UUIDs).
the bags will not spawn without the pouch. All you need to do is put the pouch in via mod manager, nothing else. Then the bags are within the tutorial chest.
This doesn't work whatsoever. The bags aren't with Aaron, nor in the tutorial chest, using mas_var_1.03.
So to make it work, you need to recompile this thing. First, unpack it using multitools, then you must make a "mods" fodler in the same directory as the "public" folder, then, 1 layrer down you make another folder, name it whatever you feel like, 1 more layer down, you must have meta.lsx file, just steal it from any other mod. Inside, simply replace things like the name, description, tthis changes what Mod Manager will see and what it prints on the list, it doesn't matter in regards if the mod will work. After all that, recompile this into a pak file again with multitools, import and only then will the pouch of wonders spawn the bags,
This mod is very buggy in few reagrds. For instance I found out if you drop a potion, that you had prior to installign this, you can't pick it up with any character.
Another thign that doesn't work if that bags don't detect items when they are beings send to another character. If you however send a bag to another character and then back, the items will be detected.
I think it's much simpler to use infinite carry weight mod or use Bag of Holding - Bag of Weight Reduction mod, put the auto bags in it and simply use 1 character to hoard everything while not having to worry about carry weight. I think that's the best we can come to actual inventory managment which doesn't exist in this game.

When I disable mod, my save doesn't load – it just goes back to the main menu...
Pity. Bag icons seemed lovely.

Also why the mod goes to "overrides" folder instead of Active Mods in mod manager? Where it should go in load order?
