🌈 Hello friend! Would you like recolored spell VFX for your mod? ðŸŒˆ

If you need recolors of spells I already have, please let me know! Happy to look into other spells also.

My file load is ever-increasing, so I could use your help! If an animation looks like the wrong color or there's some other issue, please do let me know! You should receive a response from me soon. Thanks!!! ðŸ˜‡

Titan fight fix in the March update version 1.8.1

If you have any issues with the Titan fight, make sure you've installed 1.8.1. This fix has been in place since March 5 and has been confirmed by multiple users that this works. Please double check you have the latest version should you experience any issues.

    Update June
For you mod creators out there, I've added two new versions of Vlad's Color Calculator under the Optional Files section:

★ Lite Handles 30000 lines of code and up to 500 colors. This is the original handling capacity with some minor enhancements.
★ Pro - Handles 50000 lines of code and up to 1000 colors. Includes the above enhancements and adds more handling capacity.

Older machines may struggle with running the Pro version, thus I've included Lite as an option. Per the mention below, I'll be including how to use this tool in the upcoming video series.

I've performed my own checks, but please do let me know if you experience technical issues using the calculator.

    Pending Updates
★ Currently working on a major VFX update for Scarlet Warlock full of custom animations. Those new VFX will be available in this library soon!
★ I will be completing the color assets for most VFX series featured in this mod, as well as taking images for the site.
★ As requested, I'm working on a 4-part video series explaining how to implement this library as well as make your own custom colored VFX.

Hey, I like this mod. So much so that LillyBird and I included it in Listonomicon. "Listo" is a Wabbajack-powered mod list, that works almost identically to Nexus Collections but uses a community alternative to Vortex to help users download mods from Nexus, put them in the correct order, and prepare their game to play. No mods are repacked, stolen, or distributed directly - users are still directed here, just like with Collections, to download from your Nexus page and ensure you are given the proper download credit.

Due to confusion over what Wabbajack is and what it does, users at the Down By The River community encouraged me to give a courtesy "heads up" to the authors whose work is included in Listonomicon. And to assure them that per Listonomicon's install instructions, users are explicitly told to direct their bug reports issues to us first as mod authors (like you) don't want to deal with being inundated with help requests or bug reports from users with 300+ active mods.

You can read a little more about our project on Github, though the preferred way to access Listonomicon is via the Wabbajack gallery. A list of all included mods are here. A synopsis of the philosophy of Listo and what we are trying to accomplish (and avoid) can be found in our Whitepaper on the first two pages, and is elaborated starting page 17 "List Philosophy."

If you have any concern about your mod being included in Listonomicon (which is still downloaded from this page, and credits you as the author), please send me a message via Nexus's PM mail. I'm not sure how to get notifications if someone has replied to a comment.

It probably won't be super polished to start, but I will do a recording soon and will ask for feedback on what further information is needed.

I have questions about the implementation but it might be easier if you link the mod to me. I can give you info on how to accomplish this by looking at their mod and comparing what steps to take.

Is there any way to provide a video guide or step-by-step guide on how to implement this mod as a new user?

All I'm trying to do is make Magic Missile utilize vermillion flame vfx, but I'm confused on how to accomplish this.

I'm not clear on your ask but it sounds like you want the targeting reticle to be changed? If yes, that's a UI element and I'm not familiar with how to change that. Might be a great ask in the Larian Discord though as there are a few folks out there dedicated to UI mods.

Hi there. Check the matrix here. All you have to do is take a stats file and replace the UUID.

      VFX Catalog

You could tear my Green Flame Blade mod apart if you want to see exactly what to type in. It's really simple. It's basically just green Searing Smite with some additional sound effects.

is there a beam that mimics the beam effect of spectators so that I can apply it to disintegrate?

Yes. Check the matrix here. You want Wounding Ray (originally a bright turquoise), Fear Ray (originally red), or Paralyzing Ray (originally violet). I have multiple colors of most of these.

Hi I love the mod and just wanted to submit a bug that feels like it shouldn't be affecting this but is. During the Act 3 Steelwatcher Titan fight it seems like having this mod installed locks up something about the fight and prevents you from moving/interacting/saving or loading. I was googling the issue and came across a reddit thread that suggested this mod was the culprit and upon disabling was able to confirm that having this mod disabled made it so the fight didn't freeze. Not sure why it happens but does seem to be a bug.

Hi there. Thanks for the follow up. We had a long thread about it the other week which got cleaned up.

The issue happened due to test data sitting in the mod package that another mod author was working on which was specifically designed based on one of the Steelwatcher's drops, Gontr Mael. Basically, it was a UUID conflict that the game did not like at the moment the treasure spawns into the game. Usually BG3 does not have a problem with an ID overwrite, at least in the early game, but it did in this case.

Three users confirmed for me that the fix I pushed in 1.8.1.0 resolved it. There should be no more data related to that mob or his drops at all. I see you did update but not sure if you did that before or after the fight.

Hi! New to modding; I want to utilize two effects from your catalog in a class mod I'm making. Would that be alright? I wasn't sure how to contact you so I figured this was as good a spot as any xD

Hi there! You don't have to ask for permission! It's a library, so as long as you set this mod as a requirement, no permission is needed. Thanks for asking!
