Ok, so to help all of you to follow the advice of KitTheNameless on the posts area of the Heroes never die - Angel (Wings) mod, here are 2 tutorials on how to make these mods work with Patch 7.
I have confirmed that this mod & the Angel Wings mod from this same author are working perfectly with Patch 7 after doing the following:
How to remove mod fixer: Gonna teach you guys how to fish ... Credit to Kestralys on Nexus
1. Download Baldur's Gate 3 Modder's Multitool and follow instructions for setup 2. Open (the Mod you're working on) zip folder and drop (the Mod you're working on)onto Multitool workspace 3. Open unpacked (the Mod you're working on) folder and navigate to Mods\(the Mod you're working on) 4. Delete Story folder 5. Drop edited (the Mod you're working on) folder onto Multitool workspace to repak 6. Depending on how you set up Multitool, it will either: A. create a new zipped folder of (the Mod you're working on), now without Mod Fixer, that you can install, or B. place the repacked .pak file directly into your mods folder 7. Be sure and save, then export load order You can now remove mod fixer from other mods that have it as well. Have fun catching fish on your own now :) You just need to open the packed mod, remove ForceRecompile.txt file from the Story folder
How to change the UUID: Tutorial by Xandria68 with help from Padme4000 & Commanderstrawberry
First you will need this tool (Same as the one in the tutorial above)
1. Download Baldur's Gate 3 Modder's Multitool by Shinyhobo and follow instructions for setup
2. Open (the Mod you're working on) zip folder and drop (the Mod you're working on)onto Multitool workspace 3. Open unpacked (the Mod you're working on) folder and navigate to Mods\(the Mod you're working on) 4. Open the meta.lsx file with Notepad++ or something simlilar 5. Find the line with the UUID & highlight it. 6. Go to the multitool & click on generate. Do NOT click the "handle" box 7. Copy the new UUID & paste it onto the highlighted area in Notepad++ 8. Save the new meta.lsx file 9. Drop edited (the Mod you're working on) folder onto Multitool workspace to repak 10. Depending on how you set up Multitool, it will either: A) create a new zipped folder of (the Mod you're working on), that you can install, or B) place the repacked .pak file directly into your mods folder 11. Be sure and save, then export load order
12. (Optional) It is also a good idea to save the load order to a text file in BG3MM. This creates a file called Public Current that can be used to re-import your mods & load order should it become corrupted.

Hello there! Is there any way that you could add floating to it? Like a Mindflayer... instead of walking? I found one mod that gives that, winged boots, but I wouldn't like giving up my boots. Instead of flying... constantly floating... please! I beg of ya! :D
do the wings from this mod work on dragonborn (both masc and fem)? cause I'm using a different wing mod right now but in this one I only get one set of wings for dragonborn... however I need multiple... also is this mod patch 7 ready?
for those who can't open saves because mods DEVIL WINGS or ANGLE WINGS or other mods after patch 7 update, there are my solution steps to SUCCESSFULLY OPEN GAME SAVES and KEEP ALL GAME PROGRESS, maybe can help you guys: 1.uninstall all of your mods completely, you can delete mods folder, bin folder etc. Make sure you uninstall all of your mods file. Delete C:\...\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx. Delete your old version of BG3ModManager and to get the latest version of it(BG3MM 1.0.11.1:https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager/releases/tag/1.0.11.1).
2.Go to steam BG3 properties-Installed Files-Verify integrity of game files and waiting for the process to end.
3.Open the game, and I don't know why but now you should be able to open your save without any mods(Ignore the prompt for missing mods). I remember even if delete every mods, you still can't open the save files in patch 6, but fortunately, It seems possible in patch 7.
4.Now, create a new save, then you can have a new save WITH ALL YOUR GAME PROGRESS and it's clean, without any mods.
5.Now, you can reinstall all your mods again with BG3MM or Official Tools base on the new clean save, and test which mods can play and which mods can not.
This process worked for me on Patch 7. What I did is started a New Game on Patch 7 and went through my MODS and got rid of the ones that did not work, I recommend 5 at a time. There are plenty of KB's online for this process (GOOGLE IT).
Once you have a working MOD ORDER do a EXPORT TO Game using BG3MM, then a Save Order As. Exit the game completely and BG33MM.
Here is what I did since I have working mods now and a clean good load order. I copied the MODS from the MOD folder to a New Folder I created on my desktop called Working Mods 09122024.
Then I followed the process above from melin12137 , FOLLOW IT TO THE letter or it will fail. Once you have a good save, exit the game completely
Open BG3MM and Import Your Mods from the folder Working MODS 09122024. Then IMPORT Order from File. Then Export Order To Game.
Then launch the game. Load the Save file and you should be Good to Go with your Good Clean MODS .
One thing to ***NOTE*** You will have to do this process on every campaign you have to continue where you left off from Patch 6.
Didn't work for me unfortunately, the in game mod thingy still doesn't manage to enable the mod (despite it being enabled in Vortex lmao). Guess I'll have to wait until the mod gets updated :')
Can confirm that removing the mod in Patch 7 does work. I was able to load back into my savegame.
I did pretty much what melin12137 said, delete all existing mods, also deleted the bin directory (because of native mods) and did a file integrity check within steam. After that i also renamed my %localappdata%\Larian Studios directory so that a new one gets created on first launch (probably a bit overkill, because this will also reset your ingame settings like keybinds/graphic settings/...). But, at the end, it worked. I was able to load my savegame without any mods, and most important without this mod here.
Hi I followed your steps but at step 3 it still wont let me load my save without any mods. It just brings me back to the home screen. :( Begging for a solution at this point. In BG3MM it says I have a mod fixer in the mod. It said this for a lot of my mods but I use modders multi tool and it works fine for my other mods EXCEPT this one. Plsss help
To bellarw, Unfortunately, I only accidentally discovered that this method is feasible, and I am not sure about the principle behind it. Based on the feedback from friends above, it is clear that only some players are suitable for this method. I speculate that this is because everyone has installed different mods, and some specific mods may cause the save to not open properly in the third step even if all mods are uninstalled. This may be because some important positions in the saves cannot be restored to normal by uninstalling the mod. For me, I only installed types of appearance enhancement mods, and some types of professions or more complex mechanism mods may be relatively difficult to repair, resulting in deleting mods does not make the saves work properly. Moreover, in my personal experience, mods that already include MOD FIXER are more prone to problems. A typical example is the "Basket Full of Equipment" mod, where the version with MOD FIXER cannot run properly, but the version without MOD FIXER can run normally. Of course, as you mentioned, there are also many mods that include MOD FIXER that can function properly, and I am not sure why. I'm sorry I couldn't help you, and I'm sorry I can't do anything about it either. I hope capable friends can provide further insights to help more people. I wish you a speedy resolution to the problem, GOOD LUCK.
Hi! Begging you to update this for patch 7, I've got over a hundred hours in my Durge run that I've now lost access to, I'm omw to fight Orin ;; I don't want to lose all this time.
Respectfully as possible, if you have time, could you please update this mod for Patch 7? I love having wings so much but since the game can no longer load this mod, it has broken all my save files :( Thank you creator!!
After the 7th patch, the game can't load a save and complains about this particular mod that can't be uninstalled...About 80 wasted hours on the game session in the trash :(

EDIT: Nvm, managed to do it myself.
As for Dragonborn, I am not sure about that. I generally play an Elf.
