About this mod

Are you barely using Wild Shape on Circle of the Land/Spores/Stars Druid? Are you barely casting any spells as Circle of the Moon Druid? This mod makes it more attractive to use Druid as the versatile hybrid that it is meant to be.

Overview
Have you ever wanted to revitalize the fun in playing a certain class? Have you tried to play Druid in a more hybrid kind of playstyle, but found that it was difficult to use Wild Shape as Circle of the Land, Spores or Stars? Do you find yourself with almost full spellslots every long rest as Circle of the Moon because you spend almost all the time in Wild Shape?

This mod aims to give incentives for every Druid Subclass to use their versatility. Cast or wildshape when it is needed, even if your subclass is centered around a different aspect of the Druid Class.

New Passives

Circle of the Land

  • Untamed Land (Level 2): You can spend a Natural Recovery charge to wildshape without using a Wild Shape charge or action.
  • Cleansing the Land (Level 4): Defeating an aberration, construct, monstrosity, fiend or undead restores one Natural Recovery charge, once per short rest.

Note: Untamed Land is a toggled passive, so add it to your hotbar or use the "Passives" tab beneath your hotbar to navigate to it. You should find it in your spell book, under the tab "Druid" at the very bottom. When looking for it, make sure you are scrolled all the way to the bottom (might need to put your cursor at the edge of the window or use the bar on the side, as scrolling while aiming at the center of the window won't scroll all the way down).

Circle of the Moon

  • Lunar Spellcasting (Level 2): When you leave Wild Shape or it is removed by damage you gain Lunar Spellcasting. Casting a spell that costs Spell Slots allows you to return to a Wild Shape at no cost. Then in Wild Shape, if you have Wildstrike you can make one attack, with Improved Wildstrike you can make two attacks. Once per battle.

Note: When re-entering Wild Shape this way you will have the same health as you had when you left it. This is to prevent making every Level 1 Spell a free full heal. If your Wild Shape wasn't dismissed, but rather broken by damage you will have to spend a Wild Shape charge (still no action or bonus action however).

Circle of the Spores

  • Catalytic Spores (Level 2): When your Symbiotic Entity is used up in combat, you can wildshape as a reaction at no cost. Once per long rest.
  • Symbiotic Conversion (Level 10): Casting Wild Shape while Symbiotic Entity is still active will dispell it and emit a large cloud of haste spores at your location.

Circle of the Stars

  • Astral Wildshape (Level 6): When in Starry Form: Archer or Dragon, using a Star Map and Cosmic Omen you can enter Astral Wild Shape, without spending a Wild Shape charge or action. You will retain your Starry Form in Astral Wild Shape, allowing you to benefit from its effects and special ability.
When your Astral Wild Shape ends you will still retain your Starry Form. Twinkling Constellation allows you to swap between Archer and Dragon while in Astral Wild Shape.

Note: Astral Wildshape is a toggled passive, so add it to your hotbar or use the "Passives" tab beneath your hotbar to navigate to it. You should find it in your spell book, under the tab "Druid" at the very bottom. When looking for it, make sure you are scrolled all the way to the bottom (might need to put your cursor at the edge of the window or use the bar on the side, as scrolling while aiming at the center of the window won't scroll all the way down).
