Adds Gale’s Keyart Armour, as well as other equipment with custom spells and VFX.

This mod is a recreation of Gale’s Keyart Armour; as well as thematic equipment with custom spells and visual effects. The armour’s patterns were handpainted to excruciating detail for months, and the colors carefully balanced to recreate Gale’s look in all the promo material and screenshots from before Early Access, in as much detail as I could manage. The mod also offers custom icons, names and descriptions for all the new stuff. ENJOY! ;)

MAIN FILE:
Gale starts the game with his armour and accessories already equipped:
- Armour of the Weave (Gale’s Keyart Armour)
- Warding Bracers (Gloves)
- Featherlight Boots (Boots)
- Mystra’s Favour (Headgear)
- Talisman of Jergal (Amulet)
- Ring of Access (Ring 1)
- Runic Band (Ring 2)
- Gale’s Bag of Lost Things – a pouch containing three misterious items.
OPTIONAL FILE:
This version of the mod adds “Gale’s Bag of Lost Things”, containing all the items, to the tutorial chest (room adjacent to where Shadowheart is initially found); as well as three merchants: Arron (Druid Grove, Act 1); Quartermaster Talli (Last Light Inn, Act 2); and Sorcerous Sundries (Act 3).

ARMOUR OF THE WEAVE
Gale’s Keyart Armour - Light Armour, AC 12
“A prodigy of the arcane arts, Gale has learned to manipulate the Weave like a virtuoso composes music. This elegant gambeson hums with magic, for those skilled enough to hear it.”
PASSIVE:
* Weave Eater: “Whenever the wearer succeeds a Saving Throw against a spell, they regain 1d6 hit points.”
SPELL:
* Aegis of the Weave: “A protective magical force surrounds you, increasing your Armour Class by 2.” - this spell is a version of Mage Armour available to the wearer.
WARDING BRACERS
Gloves Slot
“Buckled leather bracers enchanted to shield the wearer from harm.”
SPELL:
* Magus Ward: “When you are about to be hit by an enemy, surround yourself with a shimmering force field.” – a version of the Shield spell (Reaction), the force-field’s strenght is determined by spell level: 5 Temporary Hit Points at Level 1, up to 30 as a Level 6 spell. The magical barrier must be destroyed before the target takes any damage, otherwise lasting until the end of the turn.
FEATHERLIGHT BOOTS
Boots Slot
“Wearing these boots is like walking on cotton clouds.”
SPELL:
* Feather Fall: a (self-only) version of the spell with the same name.

Gale’s Iconic Earring - Headgear Slot
“On his left ear, Gale wears a silver earring shaped in the form of an eight-pointed star, the holy symbol of Mystra.”
PASSIVE:
* Arcana +1; Intelligence +1

TALISMAN OF JERGAL
Amulet Slot
“Ancient magic fills this amulet, whispering secrets of the departed.”
SPELL:
* Speak with Dead

“Stylized engravings of an ornate lock and key decorate this ring.”

* Knock; Arcane Lock: (once per Short Rest without expending a spell slot)
RUNIC BAND

“The exterior of this ring is roughly carved with arcane runes.”

* Arcana +1; Religion +1
GALE'S BAG OF LOST THINGS

“A seemingly ordinary pouch, cinched at the top with a knotted purple cord. Upon reaching inside, the wizard that created it can find items they've lost at some point in their lives.” – contains three mysterious items.

Known Issues:
The shoulderpads of the armour currently have some weight issues and can deform or clip on occasion.
