About this mod

This is a class Mod for Saiyan, a Dragon Ball Z inspired class.
I've made this for my personal interest and to learn how to mod, and decided to share it.

This won't be properly balanced(probably) and i'd recommend a Lone Wolf / 2nd playthrough with it and just have some fun.

Hey guys! Since i've started modding BG3 i actually played the game less then spending time looking at text files, which is really tiresome and made me enjoy the game less.
This update will add more spells and subclasses, but it's not tested much and i'm not sure when i'll get around to keep working on it.
BUT, i really wanted to push this for all the people who enjoyed the mod and gave me helpful feedback.

I'll leave the old version for everyone if this one should be to unstable for any reason, which i doubt.


So with that out of the way, enjoy! (Hopefully)

ONE MAJOR BUG THAT I DONT KNOW WHY : Do NOT hover over Ki Blast and Energy Barrage ( Guiding bolt Icon and Hail of Thorns ) at the level up menu, it crashes the game. While playing you can still hover over these skills and read the tooltip / use them.

-More Subclasses : Prodigy(Goku), Elite Saiyan(Vegeta),Hidden Potential(Gohan),Legendary Saiyan(Broly) and Primal(GT Goku)
-More Spells : Everyone has access to their signature attacks. Masenko, Galick Gun, Big Bang, Kamehameha, Energy Blasts and Barrage etc. And ofc a 3 turn spell, Spirit Bomb!
-Some cleanup in code ( hopefully should work better with other class mods like magus now?)
-some balance
-Mastered Forms for everyone ( they remove combat limitation and duration )

I'm not sure when and if i'll update this mod anytime soon, this last update was more like a "thank you" to everyone.
If anyone is willing to work on and update this mod, feel free to do so!

Also, thanks to yuujiayasaki for some code and suggestions for the mod, he already mad an edit for himself which i could look over and use!

Added some images for clarification on what to expect.
Increased SSJ forms Power again ( i'll stop with blizzard balance ping pong i swear )
Tooltips for Class should help with stat spread and what to expect from subclasses.
Subclasses! small differences so far mostly for flair. May put some more thought into it in later updates.

The class primarily deals damage with unarmed combat and has Class features to support that.

Normal Attacks generate Ki ( unique resource not Monk Ki ) which can be used to use stronger attacks like Kamehameha.

Kaioken gives you Advantage on unarmed attacks or Strength abilities / saving throws. But every attack used in Kaioken decreases your AC by 1 but it also increases your damage.

Super Saiyan spells are, for the lack of knowledge and balancing, glorified Feats like Great Weapon Master, but the higher your SSJ lvl (1,2,3 -> UI) the better it gets.

No custom gear yet since i don't have any clue.

Progression goes up to level 12.

SSJ Forms and UI are now proper spells isntead of a glorified GWM feat.
HP progression changed from Barbarian -> Monk
Kaioken now deals self dmg instead of -AC as a negative effect. Each Stack gives +1 more self dmg. If you can sustain it you can deal a lot of dmg quickly.
SSJ gives 2 strength, SSJ2 gives 2STR/DEX/CON, SSJ3 gives 6STR, UI gives 6STR/4AC
Kamehameha removed unarmed dmg portion ( scaled way to hard ). Now gives +4/6/8/10 extra dmg per transformation level and has innate +SaiyanLevel Modifier
Zenkai gives +Strength instead of ANOTHER Strength modifier bonus for unarmed ( tavern brawler fills that role )
Double Strike -> Double Kick and you can choose up to 2 targets ( in melee range )
Meteor Combo is now in the progression table instead of being locked to Kaioken.
Level 12 progression is now at level 11 for multiclassing.
Level 13-20 added with 2 feats (16/20)

Next stop would probably be some kind of Armor for early game and Spirit Bomb.
