Can I use this mod without the Home Brew mod? I don't really like many of the changes in that, but I'd like to use this one. I don't know what files this is dependent on from it.

This one no, but I can make a version that doesn't requires Home Brew. I let you know when it's done

Just a generic Archery comment from an actual archer: While it is true that the english longbow had a very high draw weight (100-150lbs) the archers who used them did not only use their arm to draw the bow they also used their back as a weight to draw.

We also should take into account that these English longbows had this high draw weight because their combat range was up to 230m while in BG3 our combat range is 18m...

At 18m we easily pierce armor with a bodkin arrow and a draw weight around 40lbs in real life...

Yeah, but this is mostly because games are miniaturized by nature. Not only are locations way smaller than they'd be in real life, but the engagement scales are as well - a fight with 15 people participating is pretty big in this game, while in real life engagements with a couple hundred on each side would be considered small.
