Users who can't find the mod in the mod manager, go and download the no portrait version, which will solve the problem. If you really want to reshape your character's appearance, you can use AEE's Change Race skill to select the corresponding character again in the selection screen. You'll be able to click OK after that, but if you do, I can't guarantee that you won't get an error in the future
I installed all the required mods and the portrait changes (only when I make a new game) but in no case does his actual appearance change. I've activated it using the BG3 mod manager but it doesn't appear in the ingame mods menu either. Am I missing something?
You can try to place it as low as possible on the mod list. If that doesn't solve the problem, try uninstalling all unrelated mods and starting a new game. If it works normally, it might be incompatible with one of your mods.
I am having this exact same problem... I tried removing all other mods, starting a new game, changing the order - doesn't matter. The mod doesn't appear on menus either. The portrait changes to fem version, but his appearance stays the same. How did you manage to get it sorted?
I have a problem. When I zoom in during level up, the head isn't completely visible. Lower 10-20% get cut. Unlike vanilla characters whose entire head and a bit of neck is visible when you completely zoom in. This proved a problem during cutscenes where Astarion's head is clearly not aligned with my Half-Elf Tav. As expected, Fem Astarion's head is in a lower position. Height is not the problem as it's normal when walking and talking. But during Cutscenes and level-up screen; the character model is getting lowered than normal position somehow.
Mine is all normal, I'm not too sure either. You can try to place it as low as possible on the mod list. If that doesn't solve the problem, try uninstalling all unrelated mods and starting a new game. If it works normally, it might be incompatible with one of your mods.
I'm not using any body mods, but the genitals of your gender switch chrs use the male body location. This means regardless of what they are "packing" the texture is floating in front of the female form. Since it expects to fit with the body type 2 position and not type 1. Anyway to resolve this? Otherwise I think I'm better off using the re-sculpt feature from appearance edit enhanced mod (losing the unique idles in the process).
On another note to users: If your portrait isn't showing the new form, level up and the new portrait will take.
I said not to reshape the face,if you have appearance edit enhanced,You need to select body type 1 and same hair in the creation interface; otherwise, if you enter the game directly, the situation you mentioned will occur. You can try uninstall Appearance Edit Origins
Thank you for sharing the great mod. I have installed all the required mods, and confirmed that Astarion has been properly changed in-game. However, the original portrait is still being displayed, and when starting a new game as Astarion, her body appears transparent in the customization screen. I would like to ask about this issue.
Is it possible that you downloaded a unique Taff or other body-altering mods? The body used is the vampire body provided by the game, and if you have a mod that modifies the vampire, it may cause errors.
No, I did not use any body modification mods. I only added face and hair mods. In-game, the body is displayed normally, but in the initial character selection screen at the start of the game, the body appears transparent. Also, the portrait always shows the original one.
Oh, the portrait has been updated correctly — thank you! The body still appears transparent, but it only happens in the initial customization screen, so I don’t think it will affect actual gameplay.
I have a feeling that the issue might not be caused by the mod you shared, but rather by the outfit mod used at the beginning of the game. Thank you once again!

Does your mod changes how the game thinks the gender of Astarion is?
Thank you.
