    I like this, but... I think hand crossbows should take a bonus action to load and guidance should remain unchanged as if its a permanent buff it messes up balance slightly.

      Crossbows in general are on the weak side. If I had a D14 die I might have bumped them all up a level to D8/D12/D14, but alas, no dice. Would be open to some small buff to crossbows in general, but I won't make hand crossbows work differently.

      Hand Crossbows are a bit of a fantasy rather than a real weapon, so not seeking to make them especially good, and besides, the weapon equipping restrictions already make them very good as they are the only ranged weapon that can be paired with a large melee weapon.

      I almost including a change to make equipping weapons only use a bonus action, so a fighter can swap from sword to bow more easily in combat - might add that as an optional download or something.

      Guidance I didn't find any balance changes from. Except for shoving it only affects things out of combat, and you can already cast it for free anytime you want.

    Wow! I usually pass on large ruleset changes like this, because at most half of them are sensible and the rest seem like they would make my gameplay experience worse. But I think only one or two of this long (long!) list didn't excite me. Downloading this and starting a new run right now! Thanks for all your hard work and careful thinking!

    Still on the nautiloid, already loving this. Meaningful decisions are my favorite things! "Jump" and "Jump down" work great, love it!

      Hey, I'm glad you like it :D

      I have a Races and Classes mod that is meant to go with it - but then patch 8 came and threw that out. So gotta try to find time to work in all the new subclasses too.
