About this mod
Changes the paladin's starting armor to be more in line with the image of a knight in shining armor and also adds a new set of armor for paladins.

Greetings!
Do you ever get the feeling that paladins' tabards look very cool in contrast to the armor itself? Those awful leather tights... yikes. Down with this injustice!
I present to you a redesign of starting gear for the paladin and all of his official subclasses. Let our charismatic slayers of horrible gazebo finally save the world in the proper gear for their image!
Details.
Added shield, armor, boots, gloves and two types of helmets (with open and closed visor) for all paladin subclasses, as well as a new greatsword. The mod supports all body types and races of the base game.
For the basis of the new model I took half-plate armor, which in my opinion most closely resembles historical examples of real combat equipment. Not overly fancy and ceremonial like in-game plate armor. I also slightly changed the model of the greatsword by adding leather on the ricasso, so now the sword model corresponds to its icon.
Also added a new set of armor based on in-game plate armor with Torm symbols. So far it is available through the training chest, but in the future this set will become a high-level set with unique boons and stats.
Gameplay changes.
The starter armor type has been changed from scale armor (14 AC) to half-plate armor (15 AC). All other equipment items are completely cosmetic and will not affect your starting experience in any way. Both helmets can be found in a pouch in your starting inventory so that they don't interfere with your character creation.

Add-ons.
- Tutorial Chest Addon. Adds all new paladin gear to the tutorial chest.
- Greatsword Start Addon. Replaces paladin's starting weapon with a greatsword.
- No Plume Addon. Removes the plume on helmets.
- No Tassets Addon. Removes tassets from armor.
- Heavy Armor Addon. Changes the starting armor type to plate armor but with 17 AC for balance.
Recommended mods.
Since armor elements do not have any stats and properties I recommend using transmog mods. First and foremost is the wonderful Armory mod by osirisofinternet. It will allow you to customize presets for all members of your party. And for lovers of the classics mod Transmog Enhanced by Eralyne. To dye shields, use Dye Support for Shields mod. I also recommend using EasyDye 2.0 mod for more convenient and accurate painting.
Installation.
Recommended to install with BG3 Mod Manager.
