Of course. Modders often mod games they play. I don't play it anymore. But if it doesn't work anymore, it's really really easy to fix it by any of you if it's so important.
I suggest NOT INSTALLING this mod. It completely breaks the acquisition of spells learned through scrolls. For example, you will be able to learn spells with your sorcerer, but any spells you learn through scrolls will remain fixed in memory and will always be cast with Charisma. You will never be able to unlearn it, not even by changing class.
And you think being unable to unlearn spells is weird while being able to respec is not? To each their own I guess. This is a core issue btw, other scroll-learning mods work the same way. The scrolls stay with you as spells of whatever class you learned them as. So either pick a class to boost with scrolls and commit to it, or indeed stay the hell away from such mods.
Thank you very much for this mod! Just wanted to say for anyone that might be interested that I just tried it and it seems to work with Death Soul sorcerer too, without the need for downloading any patch.
any mod creators willing to take off where this stopped?? xD I would but have never done any mod anything before and wouldn't even know where/how to start
I am running into a strange problem- my character is a sorcerer that multi-classed one level into wizard to learn scrolls. When I installed your mod, I respec'd my character to just be pure sorcerer, but all the spells I learned as a wizard are now put into the common tab of the spellbook and still require INT to cast. I also can't relearn the scrolls to have them added to the sorcerer tab. New scrolls that I haven't learned yet work fine though.
I suppose the way to fix this would be to "unlearn" the scribed spells before I respec, but I don't know how to do this.
Unfortunately this is an issue with the game and not so much the mod. The only option you have is to load a save from before you learned the spells from the scrolls. Scroll learning is permanent, since there is no game mechanic or mod that allows you to unlearn spells (Larian being lazy). If they are spells from a mod, then you can turn it off and create a save. Turn it on again and loading that save should allow you to re-learn those spells from scrolls.
I'm having a similar problem. My chromatic magic missiles was bugged for some reason, so I tried your suggestion, and, unfortunately, it didn't work. I saved it without any of the scrolls in any inventories, disabled the mod, loaded the save, confirmed no spells in spellboak, and re-enabled the mod. I was planning to add all of the scrolls and re-learn them, but all of them except MM were already in my spellbook. And when I tried to learn MM, it said I already knew it.
