The mod works as always, but ever since I started a game in Patch 8 a lot if not most of those large standing candleholders explode? I do not remember seeing other light falling literally apart, but that is just me. (I do not remember seeing it in Patch 7.) The flames from the candles keep burning, so the rooms are still lit, the candleholders just break apart?
I could be the only one, but I still thought of posting it here and see what comes from it.
Great mod! A few suggestions I have: add a potion to grant the toggle permanently, only light objects that are in line of sight, avoid lighting anything while stealthed, and if it's possible to remove the combat log spam, that would be fantastic.
Hey champagne, thanks for the mod! I'm not that much into modding, but i actually made a mod shortly after the release of BG3 with the same intentions, but never got around to actually finish it. Work and all. Thats why i have a little request or suggestion:
Could you add the passive or effect to an actual equippable torch? I build my mod back then around a unique torch, which would always have the effect active, so you could equip the torch via the little button. Optionally i also made a button to toggle the effect off, while equipped, but default was on. You could see it as if the character with the torch is actually lighting other torches with his own - RP wise.
The torch was also set to 3-5m and the effect was only applied on visible objects, again for the RP aspect. If i get my hands on my old files i could share how i build my torch.
Anyway lovely that someone got around making this.
