Do you think you could create a background variant? Where you can just start as an Ascendant Vampire Or a Lesser Vampire?, or allow you to purchase the potion from The Alchemist Girl in Moonrise, and again in Baldur's Gate.

Hey I'm really enjoying this mod for my Blackguard character. I just have one minor complaint and that is the happy status saying I'm Astarion in the tooltip. Any way to remove that for immersion?
The tooltip for the Vampire Spawn bite happy status is changed and Astarion's name was removed, but Ascendant Bite also gives the happy status and that one still says Astarion.
Would it be possible to add a slightly nerfed version? Having the ability to use either bites per turn is pretty overpowered, especially ascendent bite. In the regular game they need a short rest before being used again.

I have only used it for my Tav not Astarion. I was trying out the bite with a fresh Tav on the nautiloid and the at the camp on shadowheart to see if there was any difference and all they do is punch the enemy rather then bite them. The effects work just the animation is a lil odd.
The potion keeps spawning every time I load my save. I have 6 in my inventory right now. If I disable the mod, my save will not load (even if I haven't used the potion, and/or remove all from inventory before saving). Please can you make this item check for existing potions before spawning, thanks.
Sir I love your mod, and I found an issue regarding a delay of the bite when you use vampire bite. For example, you picked a target and use vampire bite on it. Then the game pause or freeze for like 3 sec before goes back to normal. Is there a way to fix this sir
I did a test and it worked perfectly. It is either the mod isnt loaded (i recommended BG3 mod manager), you dont have script extender working (install with bG3 mod manager) or (and this is not likely) some sort of mod incompatibility. If the later test without other mods.
Let me know how it goes! Also test in singleplayer
So I definitely don't have the option to remove the vampire spawn abilities by re-drinking the potion and etc. like mentioned in the comments. It breaks Astarion and I need to remove it as of patch 6 and it's hotfixes. Is there a way to remove this without it breaking my saves. Please help!
Sorry, allow me to clarify. I meant it breaks astarion in the way that when you defeat cazador, and don't ascend him, he thinks he's ascended and even though he speaks as a spawn, the companions react as if he's ascended and his kiss animations are that of his ascension.

V1.05 Fix: another try to improve animation for vampire bite
Its better, but different character can have their own DynamicAnimationTag, so its designed to work for Astarion and the vampire spawn.
Just have one potion in your inventory (not in a container), for each party member.
