Thank you so much. I've been waiting for a mod like this to replay as Dark Urge because my old playthrough felt so strange when it came to a lot of these reactions. The "TWEE" reaction was especially *sigh* after the incredible finish to Astarion's storyline. The only other suggestion that I have is the immediate reaction of the redeemed Dark Urge's LI when they die and everyone stands there like nothing happened. I didn't even need a voice line just some kind of bodily reaction to "Hey, my lover just got violently murdered". But if it's not possible, I'll just keep pretending their all in deep shock like I've been doing. Thanks for your hard work!

Hi, thank you so much for this mod! I have a question about Karlach's reaction to Wyll breaking the contract. Is she supposed to say something about it? Cause now, she just greeted me with her normal "Hey, you".
I scoured the game files for Karlach's actual reaction to Wyll breaking his pact and couldn't find it anywhere :\ So this mod just disables her incorrect reaction. If you'd like her to say something, I do have a DIY'd reaction in my bug fixer mod

I'm also working on a mod that overhauls her romance requirements so that you can start it even in Act 2. Because I honestly can't fathom why the tiefling party is the cutoff for a companion that's so desperate to be held :\
I'm wondering if it would be possible to alter the random lines Durge can say while out in the field. Some of them don't make much sense being said at the start of the game (such as "Father, are you watching!?") and would fit better if they were only said after Durge learns of their bhaalspawn status in act 3. Also doesn't make sense that the lines are still being said after Durge refuses Bhaal, they should be disabled entirely after that point.
This is so cool and very much needed. Any plans for more companion reactivity, like when they find out Kressa was responsible for torturing Durge? It always seemed a bit odd to me that no one says anything.
Hell, the revelation that Durge was one of the people behind the Absolute is also met with some pretty lackluster reactions that have no long-lasting consequences to your relationships, with some of them (like Karlach) getting mildly angry at you only to never bring it up again.
That's not even getting into the complete milquetoast reactions to redemption!Durge's death in act 3 if they choose to defy Bhaal. I wasn't expecting anything super dramatic or longwinded, but you'd think there'd be more concern from them at least. There's another mod called Really Shadowheart that does a great job fixing this (but only if you're romancing her). I'm curious if you'll ever do something similar for the rest of the companions.
Yep, definitely have plans for more reactivity! Especially for romanced companions post-Orin. Minthara definitely needs something because (now that the breakup is deprecated) she just talks about herself -- maybe it's just me, but "I do not often doubt myself, but surviving Orin took courage and strength I was not sure I had" is an interesting thing to say to the person that did all the fighting and DIED afterwards

I have a question regarding this mod. I have not had a chance to download and replay the game. I will probably save this and do a complete replay one day but how did you add all these new dialogues and their edits? Do the companions actually speak? Are you using unused voice lines or making new ones using AI?
Act 1 is wonderful but by Act 2 things start going quiet and by Act 3 the reactivity drops off significantly. I was wondering if whatever you are doing can be used to bridge even more content like reactivity/romance extended? Like yeah its nice if Gale mentions how much he loves the library but ok what else? Is that all? 1 line to acknowledge you have arrived at destination X and he goes dormant until we reach destination Y.
Yes, the companions all speak! The player lines are DIY, but the companion responses already exist elsewhere in the game; I just repurposed them for Durge. :)

As for more reactivity -- it's definitely possible; the challenge is finding existing lines that can be reused. And if something fitting doesn't exist, your next best option is to splice existing content together -- but then you have fun things like lip sync to worry about
Thank you so much Hyperspace!! I was playing durge and I ended up dropping it because all the nonsensical reactions (or lack thereof *cough*Kressa Bonedaughter*cough*) began to add up for me. And I just couldnt handle knowing I was still gonna hear stuff like "twee" later on lmao xD I really appreciate all the edits you've been doing!
These mods of yours are SO NICE! Fantastic edits all around, from the looks of it. I have to ask though, would you happen to know how well your mods in general would play with OIO? I don't know enough about the inner workings of these things to really judge for myself if they'd directly conflict, or cause incorrect info being displayed due to changing flags, or anything else.
