- make sure your load order is correct. it would be the UT heads, then Unique Tav, and below that, the MMaT UT version. - double check that you've added the downloaded files into the right folder, and the path to the folder is correct: Generated -> Public -> MakeupAndTattoos - make sure that the head you are using is UT compatible!
that's all i can think off to make it work - if you're still having issues, we can discuss it further!
Does this only work on default heads? I tried installing it and the More Makeup& Tattoos mod and this isn't showing up in my mirror (although the ones included with More Makeup & Tattoos do), but I am using a custom head
no, it should work on modded heads that are patched for MMaT.
here's what i can think of: - double check that the atlases have been replaced in the Generated/Public/MakeupAndTattoos folder with these ones. dropping the folder you downloaded from me should override the original makeup/tattoos included in the MMaT mod. - make sure the head you are using has been patched for MMaT - careful using the utav version of MMaT, might not show up on heads if they aren't patched for both utav and MMaT
if this still doesn't help, i'm happy to go into DMs to troubleshoot more closely.
I don't have utav, and I double checked the replacers and all. I think that the head I am using might just not be patched for MMaT. I am using Loulette's Heads, and I see nothing on that mod page about MMaT compatibility, nor am I seeing it on MMaT's page. It would also explain why the new tats from MMaT are all just showing the default makeups.
Ah, yes! We have permission for Loulette's heads but haven't added them to the code. I occasionally help patch heads for that mod, and I can see it on our to-do list.
If you want to use this mod for those heads, you can always use the UTAV version here, if the heads have a UTAV version as well. If not, then I'll add some vanilla replacer files later today. I was going to originally, but I accidentally deleted my file, and I got annoyed and didn't do it XD
It doesn't mention utav support on the mod page or have a utav version, but I have never had any problems using utav with it before, so I will give it a try! Thank you for your help!
yeah, if the mod page doesn't say anything about uTav, then there isn't a patch for it. i've uploaded the vanilla replacers just now, and these should work with any head that uses vanilla shaders.
hey! so, this mod doesn't come in a .pak format, it comes in loose files.
1. download More Makeup and Tattoos (a .pak file) and put it at the bottom of your load order (high number) 2. download my MMaT folder 3. Put my folder into your game's data folder. it can be found by right clicking Baldur's Gate 3 in your steam library -> Manage -> Browse Local Files. Open the Data folder and put my Generated folder inside.
that's it! if you are using a modded head, make sure that it's been patched for MMaT, which you can check for that on the mod page. let me know if you need any more assistance, i'm happy to go into further detail.
