My bad, what I meant is that for most of the game it is under-powered, then it jumps into place starkly. Perhaps consider something like cantrip progression, or adding level earlier, to smooth out the curve? (this observation is based on the description)
Keep in mind that it's a free action. You'd also probably use the temp hp feature instead of the damage. Also, this was a commission based on 5e UA, so it is what it is.

Hello, I hope you are well I came to you because I loved your latest creations and I have some ideas for classes. I thought of a class linked to the planets (Mars, Earth, Neptune, Saturn etc..) with powers linked to them. I also thought of a class related to minerals and gems (Ruby, saphire, topaz, gold, silver, bronze, carbon etc..). And finally a last class on periodic elements with chain reactions (Hydrogen, mercury, helium, nitrogen etc..). I already have lots of ideas for spells and subclasses. Could my project interest you? there are 3 other spellfire mods and they all use the same .pak ID. Is there any chance you could update and change the .pak file name? I have tried manually on my end to no effect.
It's like a cleric's domain spells. They're always known, not that they're free. You don't have to choose it when you're leveling up, you'll just get it.
