Since people love to click on these mods from Twitter, I'd like to raise awareness towards the wild fires of Maui, Hawaii, the destruction of Lahaina, and the tremendous loss of life and property. With over 100 lives lost and nearly 400 people missing, it is the largest natural disaster to hit the pacific islands of Hawaii.
Everyone has their own reasons for why they want a certain change, addition or removal in the game, but I still cant really wrap my head around what the point of this is.
What does it do to enhance the experience of the game?
What on god's green Earth is the point of comments like this one?
A person didn't liked how certain characters looked in the game. A person did something about it. Is this concept THAT hard to understand for you people?
Divolg - I can understand people wanting to make their own characters or the companions look like their favorite K-pop stars because people have an unhealthy obsession with the romance aspect of this game - but a bunch of random NPCs you spend 30 seconds talking to every now and then?
Dont get me wrong, if people want it then by all means. Im not saying this mod shouldnt exist. I just dont... get it. Then again, I dont get those who mod in Shrek or Thomas the Tank engine into every game either, so its probably just a me-problem.
ixuzcc - all of these, and many other, NPC faces can be unlocked for use in character creator via other mod(s). I myself have been using Rolan's face for my character, because I didn't liked any of the Tiefling faces available by default. This mod makes that face even better for me. You can assume the mod author has a similar reason. Or that they really, really hate freckles.
And as for Viconia, I think Larian did her dirty and this mod fixes that injustice.
In Viconia's case, it fixes a mistake (one of many) with the lore: given her age and the longevity of drow, Viconia actually should not appear nearly as old as she does.
I'd almost say it should even be categorized as a bugfix.
Man I so hate snobs coming to this kind of mods and act like "why you made this mod? here's X reason you shouldn't have" Like we are on a modding webiste where ppl try to put thomas the tank engine and shrek in every games they can! And don"t get me started on CJ too!
Someone made a mod, 80+ ppl downloaded it, and you, well, not you reading this I hope, think you have a vine voice or something and should tell others that their taste isn't correct and they should rethink their decision.
Let ppl enjoy their fetishes and enjoy yours, you'll be happy when someone catters to your specific needs next. Or as they say, do it yourself if you don't like it.
Now, why did I spend the time to write this on such a small mod where maybe 10 ppl will read it? I wonder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Btw kinda surprised nobody cattered to the starving Shrek-ThomasTheTankEngine-CJ enjoyers yet! Gotta work faster guys, we're not part of the joke gaming modding scene yet! (nah truthfully while they give me a slight shuckle, I don't really get it but that's the magic of modding, I do put Touhou characters in GTA so what do I know??)
There's a whole crowd of outrage enthusiasts who sit on Twitter trying to act hip and elite, trying to get people to brigade/dogpile modders they find problematic. It's so cringe.
"THEY ERASED ALL THE PORES FROM THE SKIN!!!!! THEY AIRBRUSHED ALL THE DETAIL AWAY!!!! THEY RAN IT THROUGH AN AI FILTER!!!!"
Actually, I swapped Elf Female Head 1 onto Viconia. It's an existing texture I did very, very little to. In other cases, it's a texture swap with eyebrows copy and pasted from a different texture. So far the texture that took the most effort was goddamn Halsin.
Also now I want to play as CJ. Ah, s#*!, here we go again.
Oh man, the pores!!! I feel like every other character has crazy big dark pores in bg3. I love that there are more realistic normal looking npcs that aren't models in game. But, they went overboard where there aren't any truly beautiful people. Especially the poor male heads in creator. And no gorgeous Tiefling head choices. Love the game, but we want beauty too! lol
Thank you for these, they look great. I'm fine with a mix of attractiveness with npcs. But, I do feel like a bit too many of them are older and uglier than I would personally like to feast my eyes on. Thanks to mods I can change a handful of them to look better. There seems to be a disproportionate amount of people who look older than 25 with dirt, scars, and face/skin blemishes. Other commenters don't seem to understand that some of us want more balance to them as there really aren't many who actually look truly good. Most everyone has gross black heads too. Again, thanks for the mod, never mind all the naysayers.
Thank you for this despite all the negative comments ♥
While I very much enjoy characters being made to be more realistic and have aging by default, I do also like having the option of making characters look more pleasing to the eye. It's all down to personal choice.
Will *definitely* be using this for my solo playthroughs and appreciate the effort that went into making and sharing these
Freckles are skin imperfections thar usually arise from exposure to the sun. It is a sign of age (like for example how old people or drivers have freckles that are so intense in the back of their hands that we just call them sun marks). Love or hate freckles they aren't precisely a sign of youthfulness and the reason some people have them when they are young is due to genetics (in one way having more delicate skin against the UV rays).
Damn, you guys need to be way less serious. If you really think Daraki is serious in what they say then i think it's time to make your mind a little more open to sarcasm and comedy
I've seen freckles on a lot of youthful people and seen it as a sign of youthfulness but I could see why they'd come off as an ageing feature too. Personal preferences!

If you want to donate, avoid Red Cross and put money towards the ActBlue Emergency Fundraiser for Maui Fire and the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.
