This mod's coolest feature lets you absorb powers from certain enemies, but to do so you need to reliably stun or knock them out. And knockouts are not reliable in BG3! This mod - Bonk Enhanced - makes it almost foolproof to get knockouts. (And it enhances your bonk, who doesn't want that)
Hey there! I started a playthrough some days ago, i just finished with the underdark but i didnt use any tadpole till now for roleplay reasons. Now it was time to start consuming them but the tadpole of potential didn't appear somehow. Am i stuck without it because i refused the first tadpoles or am i missing something? thanks a lot
If so, the tooltip in the game is reversed, but I doubt it's the case. In my game it said "if active, allies will be ignored. toggle off to affect them as well". I left it toggle one and have activated it a total of 3 times, it correctly ignored allies twice, and in one encounter it affect them as well.
This mod is so cool, btw. But i've lost my tadpole and been unable to trace how or where, I am aware of needing to retrieve the tadpole from the victim but i did and got the feature, after that it was lost, it was implanted in Nere, if that helps. Anyway is there some way that you might add it to the 3 different tadpoles to the tutorial chest? Keep up the amazing work. :)
I recommend using the console command found in the dedicated article or EasyCheat to get items, with a preference for the latter as it doesn't require you to visit the page to get the uuid/command. I prefer these over the tutorial chest method.
Retrieve is an action/spell too, the target must be dead and have the tadpole planted before their death. If these conditions are fulfilled but it doesn't work, please come over on Discord to explain.
Oh it was in the character skill section, I don't know if it was there before or after tadpoling him. If you can, please add some instructions on the page somewhere so people don't get lost. The game can get overwhelming with the UI's and such.
Is there any way to get the symbiotic tadpole back if the Act 1 dialogue is wrong? I was already in the second act when I realized there was no tadpole planting spell option....
I have this and illithid powers 2 overhaul but I don't see any changes when using Priestess Gut's tadpole or experienced tadpoles. Or am i missing something?
Edit: Nevermind it's in the -character features- in the spellbook tabs.
So I spared Minthara and used the Tadpole of Potential to extract Psionic Visage from Nere - power added - worked great. I then used a tagpole to unlock a power followed by talking to the merchant among the Duergar guards that assisted me. I sold the bulk of my inventory without giving it much thought and progressed on playing. Sometime later I thought to drop the Tadpole of Potential back into the musical instrument slot and realized I did not have one in my inventory. Do you get one back after a harvest? Did I mistakenly sell it to the merchant? I saved over the previous save just before the fight with Nere, so not a quick way to go back and check.
Thanks for the quick reply. I found one of the auto-saves that was shortly before that fight. Just repeated the process - got my Tadpole of Potential, Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen, and extracted the power from Nere. Worked perfectly. Thanks again.
Just before I stopped last night I unlocked the ability to apply tadpoles (applied Favorable Beginnings). If I install this this now, should I start using a save from before applying my first tadpole, or is it still early enough that it will not matter? Update: Used save before applying first tadpole. Working great. Excellent mod. Thank you.
Hi. I have the Scornwrought pride passive but still take damage from Psionic Strain. Haven't test outburst yet. Is this intentional? If so, then the tooltip is a bit misleading. If this is not, then it might be a bug.
Hi, it works as intended on my end. Make sure Iillithid Dominion is loaded after Illithid Powers Overhaul (and after Path of Undeath if you have it too).
Thanks. fixed the problem. But now my tadpole of potential has disappeared from the character musical instrument slot and could not be found anywhere in the inventory. May I have the UUID for it? NVM: found the articles. was scanning the description mod for it
Saw that, but I think in my case it's of different reason. Mod.io was messing with my load order, and when I fixed it, the tadpole's gone. Maybe it's the changing load order mid game that causing the disappearance issue. Anyway, thanks for the head up

And thanks for the help!

The article contains console commands if you need them to get a new one.
Update: Used save before applying first tadpole. Working great. Excellent mod. Thank you.
