I hang out in one of the modding discords and Ive been watching mod authors transition to the toolkit and struggling with its flaws. The broken material editor, the constant crashing... the program eats through ram like its popcorn shrimp at an "all you can eat" buffet; however, if you can get past that... there are also a lot of cool things about it. But its definitely not the easy transition a lot of people seem to think it is.
Considering that you would have to remake your previous mods in the toolkit in order to port them to Mod.io... it is totally valid that you dont want to make any promises or commit to that right now... especially when you're not even actively playing the game.
I say all this in order to say: Enjoy your break! The game isnt goin anywhere so there is no rush, but I hope you do find yourself coming back to it and making more awesome mods in the future!
Yeah, that's a very accurate depiction 🤣toolkit has many cool features, but it also crashes and bugs out a lot.. plus the way it constructs mods is... interesting 😅 Thank you for the message 🤍 Hope to see you soon
