Anyone know where the ammulet spawns for the warhammer? i found a comment saying it drops from Abby But it hasnt dropped, ive had no other issues with any other items dropping, just this one
All drop locations are listed under each act. Or -- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1z3cWzrOjA9mdouwg6C-lcyq7KAXQ-ETYegqkE7gWUeo/edit?usp=sharing
Hey there! I just installed this mod, but I can't seem to get any of the bags for each act to spawn in the tutorial chest. They weren't there in the tutorial, nor were they summoned when I used a tutorial chest summoning mod.
I have FED loaded before this mod, and have tried placing both mods in various places in my load order (top, middle, bottom), but still nothing summons.
Sorry, but in my latest run, the equipment no longer spawns in the tutorial chest. I had already read about this problem and installed the FED Camp Chest, as well as the latest version of the FED and the equipment mods for all classes. Unfortunately, the Barbarian and Druid equipment in particular is causing problems in the BG3 Mod Manager and is requesting GustavX. What is that? Another note: I haven't updated to Patch 8 yet because I was worried that my previous favorite mods would no longer work. Therefore, I switched Steam to offline mode the day before the update. Can someone help me, please?
GustavX is something that comes with patch 8 - when update the mod in the toolkit it is added as a dependency, so I would roll back the mod if you don't plan on updating anytime soon.
Okay, thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I've already deleted the "old" versions of the equipment mods and replaced them with the "new" versions. Can I download the "old" versions before Patch 8 is released? Does FED Camp Chest require Patch 8? Would that work?
Thank you very much for your time and the quick reply! I'll give it a try! I'm already looking forward to Patch 8, and although many of my favorite mods have already been updated. But there are some mods that unfortunately haven't been updated yet, some of which date back to September 2023. The only mod I don't want to miss in BG3 and isn't updated yet is Nexus' "Recruit any NPC - Transform NPC Into Playable Character - Make Full Custom Character Party - No party limit." Actually, it's only this mod that's holding me back from updating to Patch 8. According to the comments, it doesn't seem to work anymore since Patch 8. Otherwise, I can live without many mods, and the other mods have already been updated to Patch 8. Thank you for your hard work and many hours!
when equipping/unequipping some gear the tooltips start to shift and it looks like theres a typo (but its just a visual bug?) both of the pictures are the same item on the same save (just when equipping/unequipping it repeatedly
Nothing can be done about this, I'm assuming you're on PC, but this occurs for me as well. The game ends up cutting off some of the text and nothing can be done about it.
Warhammer of the Thunder God has the same problem as the other weapons with enhancement bonus that scales with level, the bonus only applies to attack rolls, not damage rolls.
Hey I'm not sure if this was intentional, but the Warhammer of the Thundergod seems to have lost its thunder damage in your new update. Everything else you've said in the patch notes works as intended, including the updated Thunderclap effect. Was this intentional? I'm using the mod.io version and updated it using the ingame mod manager, but I haven't updated to Patch 8 yet (I'm near the end of Act 3 and I don't want to wait for my other mods to update to the new version)
I have a question about the Warhammer of the Thunder God, does the +4 to strangth stack with other boosts like to +2 elixir in act 2 and the Mirror of loss in act 3?
It shouldn't be any issues, there may be some incompatibility with some of the new subclasses such as Circle of the Star druid not being able to use some of the Wildshape items from my druid mod, but that's the extent of what I'm aware of currently.
Quick question about the Act 1 ring from Dror Razglin: If I didn't kill him in Act 1 because I sided with the goblins, did I miss my chance to get this item entirely? That would be unfortunate, but I can live with it. Just want to know for sure.
Hey! Question about the Act 3 amulet. From what I can tell, it appears to be bugged when using the base game Berserker Barb subclass. I take zero damage when wearing it, no matter what's hitting me. Would it be possible to consider capping the damage reduction to 4? With the damage reduction from other Barbarian gear, it can get pretty crazy :) Great mods across the board! I use them all!
If I get more feedback about this I will look into it. It initially only applied to physical damage but then I remembered Barbarian's Rage/Frenzy grants you Resistance to all physical damage, making the amulet feel redundant if you already take half damage from physical damage sources. If you are playing vanilla it will only reduce damage from all sources by -5 (If you aren't use items that increase your strength modifier cap) which isn't much at the end game. If you have resistances, this could definitely feel strong (Taking half damage from the sources you are resistant to and then damage reduction), and if you take into account this can go up to -10 if you have the Warhammer of the Thunder God. This amulet should be obtained pretty late in the game unless you are going straight to the bhaal encounter, so there shouldn't be many encounters that you get to use this for.
Great feedback! Yeah, there's definitely something with the damage reduction, but I can't put my finger on it. I'm doing a single character playthrough with several difficulty mods, so I'm using the set from the beginning and I'd expect to take 'some' damage from Ogres and other really hard hitters, but I've never taken a single point of physical damage and I'm most of the way through Act 1 now.
IMO, the Amulet mirroring the damage reduction from the chest piece (2) would still be very powerful with the added reduction from other pieces and the rage resistance (and it would still be near best in slot).
GREAT mods! So glad I found them. They really spice up the playthroughs :)
Not sure if it’s intentional, but I’ve noticed in my playtesting that the extra Force damage from the Gauntlets of the Titan’s Grip gets reapplied multiple times when combined with the Ring of the Berserker’s Might and/or the Helm of the Mountain King. The combat log ends up looking like this:
I’m guessing it’s because the extra weapon damage from those two items are registered as separate damage sources, thus causing them to act as individual DRS effects. This was all tested using Honour Mode rules too, so I wonder if it’s even more pronounced on Tactician or below.
That's just how damage riders work in bg3 when you have several sources of damage. I can't do anything about this unless I change it to once per attack, which I can look into.

anyone knows how to fix these shifting tooltips? is it a vanilla bug?

Melee weapon damage + Titan’s Grip damage
Berserker’s Might damage + Titan’s Grip damage
Mountain King damage + Titan’s Grip damage
