Hi everyone! Thank you for all the kind words and praise so far, I really appreciate it, a thousand times over! Thank you also for providing feedback and pointing out bug fixes that need to be made, I will begin fixing those problems immediately. In addition your kind feedback has given me some ideas for later updates: (much later updates; I am unfortunately a very, very slow worker and very new to the toolkit and all its gizmos)
1.) Fixing Sticky Dondo’s treasure table overwrite. I have no clue how that happened, and I apologize; I swear I set the item not to overwrite his whole treasure table, but that must have been before the toolkit crashed on me, or I forgot to save at some point, or more likely, I simply misremembered/overlooked it.
The problem has been fixed! I apologize again, this is my first BG3 mod, and my first time using the toolkit, so I got confused on what to do about the treasure table; I wound up copying Sticky's ENTIRE treasure table instead of just adding my sword to it! Embarrassing!
2.) I see that many people would like to use this sword right from the start; as the sword was a bit strong, I put it in act 3 for balance reasons (and for personal lore reasons, as the person's character I made the sword for had the sword stolen from them), however! I will honor those who want to use the sword immediately, and I will make a version of the mod that adds the player’s variant into the tutorial chest instead of Sticky Dondo's inventory.
The Tutorial chest version has been added! Sticky will no longer sell the sword in act 3, you may now pick it up right on the nautiloid! If something is amiss or the mod doesn't seem to be working right, please let me know straight away and I shall endeavor to fix it!
3.) While the Wiki for the Icewind Dale II Moonblade of Selûne and the Church of Selûne Forgotten Realms Wiki state that swords given to Selûnite priestesses for exceptional deeds performed for the church are gifted “Moonblades of Selûne,” it was brought to my attention that Moonblades also refer to swords part of an elven tradition, and it is blasphemous for non elves to use such swords. I thought I would include an alternative version of the mod that takes the prefix “Moonblade” out of the name in light of this info, for role-playing purposes.
Added this version! Let me know if the names failed to change or if there are any problems!
4.) Somebody mentioned that Ketheric Thorm was originally supposed to have a Moonblade of his own; I think that's very interesting, and this has inspired me to make a Ketheric specific texture for the greatsword/longsword
5.) Many of you have requested a longsword version of this sword. I will make you one!
6.) A version that only adds Aylin's sword to the game, to keep the blade special!
This version has been added! Let me know if there's any trouble, or if the player variant winds up showing itself someplace else or unexpected!
Just gave you your flowers for the GORGEOUS Phalar Aluve reSkin and I come to learn that it wasnt the FIRST TIME that you COOKED! I especially appreciate the option to call it a greatsword rather than a moonblade as in lore, those are specifically elven Heirlooms with power as great as the consequences for using it. Well done! I hope to see more projects from you in the future!
So far, I am uncertain if there are any mod conflicts; Some people said this was fixed with patch 8 for some reason, but please let me know if it was not
I am sorry it's taking so long! I want to release it alongside Ketheric's longblade as well, and making him hold it has proven difficult! THEN I had to wait for patch 8 to release; but now that that's all done, I can start working on it again!
Could I happen to get the UUID for the non-blue glowy one, or maybe another file to give both to the tut chest? Love the sword, but not so much the blue bladed one
I really want to use this but whenever I enable it none of my saves will load. I can't start a new game either. It'll then say "server shutting down" and pop me back to the main menu. This is the case with all mods that use osiris scripting for some reason. I've tried to look online but all the threads I've seen with this issue don't have any solutions. I'm certain it's something I'm doing wrong on my end because it seems to work for others. But I can't figure it out. Has anyone else had this issue?
Can you make a katana sword with glowing red for Dark Urge, called, for example, Bone Slasher Great's sword type with two features: chaos and summoning a creature like a bloodmarrow skeleton with str? Thank you.
Hey, a glaive is a bad choice of Larian, to let Aylin give it as a reward. It can't be used with a shield. This sword makes so much more sense for a cleric or paladin and it looks great. :)
Would it be possible to see the stats of the sword somewhere?

Beside that, I cant say how beautiful this is...
It doesn't seem to show up in the tutorial chest for me, i have the current version installed before anyone asks
They were in a tutorial chest that was in the camp travelers chest, not the normal chest at the start of the gameWould it be possible to see the stats of the sword somewhere?
