    I like the rust thing, but I don't need more throwable weapons for my game, is there a toggle for either setting?

      No, my mod just gave passives to the rusty weapons in the existing game and grenades to the existing rotten food. You can't switch between them, but if you don't want to use them, you can pick up the rotten food and sell it.
