What this mod changes visually : -The horn base is now also metallic -The claws of the hands and feet are now metallic -The claws will now appear black by default -Alternative version of the files removes the default black -This will affect NPCs that don't have a unique skintone
Unique Tav Compatible
How to change the color of the claws: Use the horn color to change the color of the claws Custom horn colors work on this mod
To install: ONLY CHOOSE ONE FILE for vanilla skintones The vanilla file can go anywhere in your load order, but I recommend putting it towards the bottom of your load order. Files for custom skintones have to go below the original skintones at the bottom of your load order To uninstall: Simply remove from your load order. This mod is safe to remove mid-playthrough
Known quirks of this mod: -The metallic claws linger when selecting a skintone that isn't patched during character creation. This is a visual bug, proceeding to the game will reset the visuals. You can reset the visuals by changing classes. -Face tattoos overlapping the horn base will cause some visual oddity, there is a clear example of this in the images. -The edges of the nails aren't clean, it's a side effect of pushing the metal parameters the only way to fix it would be to lower the intensity of the parameters, I tried to balance it the best I could. - The horns of some NPCs like Raphael and Haarlep might be affected by the patch and become black, use the Alt version to revert to the original horn color (example in the images)
I would like to know which mod those golden ornaments on Raphael's horn in the picture were realized, can you tell me the answer? I will be grateful :D
This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but dragonborn nails will match the rest of the skin color and texture. You can give my durge scale collection a try and see if the extra metallic options will scratch that itch for now.
I can't get this to work without the black colour just being completely dominant. I've downloaded and used all 4 files seperately multiple times. Is it possible that the ALT files don't actually contain the non-black versions? I also can't get BG3MM working now so I'm just copying the .pak files into my mod folder directly, could that be an issue?
I checked the files to make sure I didn't mix them up and the alt file have the correct data. The changes in the patch does make the nail color a little deeper/darker. You can see on most of the images that the color is not the full nail, I would have to change body maps for tiefling for the color to be the whole nail instead of just the tip. If you switched from the regular file to the non alt version, you might also be experiencing a visual bug where the black visual can linger. I added a slightly clearer image of what the nails look with a white color in the image section. I tried manually installing an alt pak, and it seems to break the visuals of the nails for all tieflings. I recommend trying to get BG3MM working, if you can to get the mod to work properly. As for the character in the inventory screen, I think it is unrelated. I've never had this issue before, and I don't think my mod is causing this issue.
Thanks for the reply! I've got the MM working now, but I think I may have overwritten something in the game files as they're just incredibly dark. I can also confirm that it's not your mod making my character paper doll(?) minute as it's started happening without your mod too. Sorry about that!
