    amazing mod i love the changes they made to chain pact in 2024phb and really glad to see it in bg3 as a mod

    quick question have you tought about experiminting wich a implementation of the flock of familiars spell using this mod as base?

    I'll take a look at what might be causing the conflict. It's unlikely that it's related to my mod, since I don't touch the Find Familiar spell at all or have anything that would influence other modders' custom summons. My mod is fairly non-intrusive.

    Did you test it in-game, by chance?

      I just took a look at your files. You're missing a duration for the Pseudodragon and Skeleton for folks that aren't level 5. Hopefully that helps!

      Whichever Dread Overlord character you were testing with was probably under level 5.

    Love that someone is working on this! Awesome job taking the time to learn to use the toolkit.

    Since you mentioned running with the 2024 all in one mod, and want your mod to be compatible, I thought it worth bringing up that Investment of the Chain Master invocation does not seem to fully function with the familiars from this mod. It correctly adds everything except the charisma modifier to damage. I'm not sure if that's something that is capable of being fixed through this mod or not though.

    Thanks for putting this together!  Its exactly what I was looking for!  Unfortunately the Imp and the Quasit are not updated, and the pseudodragon and the skeleton die immediately upon summoning.  The sprite and the sphinx of wonder summon as intended though!  The sphinx of wonder doesn't have any reactions so I think its missing the burst of ingenuity feature. As a suggestion, it would be great to give these familiars the help action.

      I left Imp and Quasit alone intentionally. The DnD 2024 All in One mod makes edits to them so I didn't want to mess with anything there as considering this a DnD 2024 mod, I assumed most people would want to use it alongside that one. 😔

      And yes, The Pseudodragon and Skeleton die immediately for some reason in my game too, BUT ONLY for my wife's character? Who is a modded subclass Warlock (Dread Overlord) for me, they all worked fine, so do you have any additional Warlock subclass mods? Also I'm specifically on a version of the DnD AIO mod thats pre 1.8 so that could be causing issues as well that I'm not aware of.

      I'll look into doing the help action, a few mods out there have done it, so maybe I can give it a try.

      Tackling the Burst of Ingenuity was a tough for me as.. implementing it to be a true 2/day thing is rough within the scope of BG3 as again the 2024 AIO mod fixes Find Familiar to where it can be used as much as you'd like (hence why I made my familiars, once per battle).

      But in tabletop at least find familiar consumes components, but in BG3 it doesn't so if I make it a 2/day thing then people can just resummon their familiars to get refreshes. Whereas in tabletop a DM can just be like no its 2/day regardless if you summon a new one. So I don't quite know how to tackle it yet, nor have I made any reactions just yet, so I'd have to brainstorm a lot, but I've not given up on it's implementation, not just yet at least lol.

      I'm running this alongside 2024 AIO and using the archfey subclass, but no other modded subclasses for warlock.  I tried loading your mod both before and after AIO but the Imp and Quasit are unchanged, I'm not sure what AIO edits on them but I'd love to have 2024 versions of them for sure.  Also, I noticed that the familiars that work all say "permanent" and the ones that die on summoning all say "until long rest" for what that's worth. 

      I'll try removing all other mods to see if that affects anything and report back - i'll need to start a new character and level up to test.

      Hmmm that could be the solution!

      I'll take a crack at it when I get the chance. And yeah it could just be that my version of AIO is simply older. The 1.8 update specifically make changes to progression hence I don't use it on my ongoing playthrough. So what I experience and people who are using the mods current version experience could very well be different.

      Like I said I'll give it a shot, and mention the whole permanent things to some folks in the discord, see what I can drum up.

    Hi, it always makes me happy to see someone working on the Looking Fomilier expansion!

    But many similar mods have difficulty interacting with other mods' changes to the Chain Master investment in Eldritch Invocations. It seems that they all make changes to Looking Familiars. Unless you make it manually compatible.
    I follow but don't use the All in One mod. So I tried it with some mods that have a Chain Master class Eldritch Invocations. Such as Pactbound and Invocations Expanded. Sure enough, their Chain Master didn't work after your mod implemented summoning different creatures.

    I don't know if this is a compatibility issue that can be solved. Or have you considered making your own version of Chain Master to cover theirs?

    And have you considered adding these Familiars to the Flock of Familiars in 5espell (I don't know much about the production process, maybe this is equivalent to asking you to redo a Flock of Familiars). The scene of Chain Warlock summoning many Familiars to fight at the same time is always tempting.

    These are not requirements, just make your decision according to your interests and abilities!
