Hey! I've been using this mod for a while but patch 8 broke it for me.

It'd be great to get an update if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks very much for the mod, and happy Easter!

I'll have a look to try and make sure the Compatibility Framework and its implementation still plays nice with the new nodes Larian have added. Fingers crossed! I needed to update the manual version anyhow.

So, from what I can tell, it looks like the mod is still working on my end. But Patch 8 has probably left your mod order and maybe a few mod installations a bit scrambled. (It did for me!)

If you make sure that Script Extender / your Mod Manager are up-to-date and working in-game, then make sure your load order has:

      • Community Library at the top
      • Compatibility Framework at the bottom
      • Doesn't have GustavX overriding these
Then I think the current main file should work. Tell me if you still run into any issues. If the relevant passives have just disappeared mid-playthrough, a respec might sort things out.

Not workin for me either boss. I checked to make sure my stuff was updated. Moved it lower in the load order. The option to pick it just isn't popping up anymore. At first I thought it might be not playing nice with the clerics 2024 phb mod I have. Which lets you pick a divine order. But it played nice with it before and would pop up right after selecting my order. Sad part is I used to use this feature for Shadowheart allot. As I preferred making her dex based. But respecing doesn't bring it up.

I'll take another look at it. I don't see an incompatibility on my end; both the Divine Order and Armour Choice pop up for me. I'll poke at it a bit, but it can be tricky to fix an issue I can't replicate. An obvious cause would be the Script Extender failing, so if the next time you open the game, you could confirm this bit of text pops up at the bottom-left of the main menu:

This is the fairly barebones load order I used when testing this:

When testing, whether PHB2024 Cleric or my mod went before/after each other didn't seem to matter. But it would break if CommunityLibrary was out of place (such as loading after CF). And it tends to be smart to have CF act last.

Otherwise, double-checking that you did indeed export your load order to the game, and it hasn't been overriden by the in-game Mod Manager or anything, could be helpful:

When starting a new campaign with this mod, upon adding Shadowheart to my party she is not proficient with her starting armor

Thanks for letting me know. What should happen (and does for me) is that Shadowheart should default to having armour proficiencies upon joining the party. I'll look into why that might not happen.

A respec should fix this, but is a bit of a pain this early on. If you don't mind, these questions might help me see what's going on:

      1) Are you using the regular file, or the No-Compatibility-Framework one?
      2) Are you recruiting Shadowheart on the Nautiloid or after the crash?

Thanks for responding. I used the regular file and recruited Shart on the Nautiloid. Great mod, btw

..you'll need to respec at Withers if you're installing this on a Cleric mid-playthrough....

Only works when starting a "New Game". You cannot reconfigure an existing priest.

As the choice is handled during the level-up screens, you'll need to respec at Withers if you're installing this on a Cleric mid-playthrough. Don't know if there's a better way to handle it. I'll think on it. For now I'll just put a note in the description.
