For anyone playing with a mod list full of new magic items, and struggling to get the game to feel balanced, Zerd's RAW has an option to add attunement to BG3. You can match the tabletop limit of 3 items, or follow the Listonomicon example of a 5-item limit, or any more or less you think you need. To save you time unpacking every mod on Nexus so you can add modded items to the attunement list, I have made a file for GraphicFade's mods you can download/use/copy/modify/whatever. There are also files for about 31 other mods :)
Hey there, loving the mod but one strange thing I am running into is some items not having their abilities? For example the gloves of the maestro. Do those have an actual class requirement to be bard? Guessing so but wanted to confirm.
Can you provide a screenshot? I checked my mods and in game and the abilities are showing up for me? What platform are you on? and can you also provide what mods your using? Such as, if you are using the All-In-One version, or the individual mods.
I imagine it may be a mod incompatibility but every other item I found so far seems to work fine (ie, warlock equipment, cloaks and such) so found it odd that particular action is one I couldnt find
Have you tried moving the columns on your hotbar or going through the tabs to see if it's hiding? And have you tried equipping the item on other characters to see if it appears for them? Just trying to rule everything out, but honestly have no idea why it wouldn't show - the spell requires you to make a performance check but that shouldn't stop it from appearing on the hotbar.
Decided to use cheat chest and a new playthrough to make sure and it seems like it may be some issue on 2024 phb mod. Not too sure how or why (maybe even a loading order problem? not sure how ingame mm handles it), so will see about it.
The odd thing is other items work just fine (at least warlock ones for example) so trying to track the connection
I looked into the phb mod, and it modifies the parent spell which is used for that spell. Which is why that occurs. When I have time, I will come up with a fix. With that being said, the phb mod modifies a lot of vanilla spells so any mods that use vanilla spells as parents (Parent meaning it uses that spell as a base) could potentially be broken by that mod just a fyi.
This mod is currently not working for me. I have FED and Fade Camp Chest. I have Chaos and Control and Gift of the Absolute, and they both seem to be working fine, but I can't seem to get Song and Steel to spawn with tutorial chest, or in my camp chest - even though the Gift of the Absolute spawns in tutorial chest, and Chaos and Control is in my camp chest. I'm nearing the end of Act 1 so I've already gone through the majority of the spawn locations so I can't confirm from that end. Currently installed using the game's mod manager, and think everything is in the right version, since I got the notification to downgrade, upon updating FED (to which i did) but it doesn't work regardless.
Update: So after experimenting with the console commands, it turns out that the mod is active in the game, but I still can't spawn in the actual chest full of the items, but I should technically still be able to find them in their spawn locations (the ones I haven't come across yet).
The items were removed from the tutorial chest, as stated in the patch notes. They will only spawn in the camp chest if you 1) Haven't already looted the chest, 2) Didn't download the equipment mod mid playthrough. Have you tested on a new save?
I’m on PS5, it seems that when equipping the Hat of the Siren’s Call, the game doesn’t really know how to handle the hairs on the slightly higher side of the hat. In my case with the bardic inspiration haircut, it just cut the hairs where a straight hat should be, showing part of the forehead. I’ve tried different haircuts, it’s either balding with short hairs or cutting with long hairs.
Since the update the game tells me that your mods are from the wrong version of the game and wont let me play.
It told me to downgrade them. Eventually I did and the game stopped working. I still don't kow how it could think your mods are from a more advance version of the game when I have the last patch. Had to re0install the wole game.
I noticed you updated this yesterday... I updated the mod via the in-game mod manager and it stopped working for me. And then I tried from nexus instead (I do have FED as well I made sure) and it's also not working for me.
Oh sorry! By not working I mean the equipment isn't where it usually is? Like the tutorial chest, or the camp chest, even when using a tutorial chest summon spell as well as the one at the start on the nautiloid. It seems like I was able to downgrade it via trying to load an old save so that makes me happy. Sorry I didn't give enough details I'm not very good at this. I'm absolutely in love with this mod btw <3333 thank you so much.

Hi, I'm looking for the gloves from act 3, but you says the gloves are in a Buried Chest, in the Circus of the Last Days. Is the Chest containing a dead rat?, because the gloves are not there.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Ring of Enchanting Tales gives a direct +4 bonus instead of 1d4, making it extremely strong when compared to the intended version. I'm assuming that's not on purpose?
The code and item description says 1d4 but when you select a dialogue of persuasion and when you get in the screen of the dice roll, it shows direct +4 in the buffs and that is what is applied to the dice :/

Not sure if its a bug or some of my mods but the ring of tales available in act one that's suppose to add a d4 to persuasion checks is currently adding a flat 4.
