Quick Question, does this adjust the stat page of a character? For example, if you use a potion of +5kg will it take their printed number from 75 to 80?
Something I have noticed is that the potions only show up once per a summon of the tutorial chest. I even went so far as to roll up a new character specifically to see if it would come back on the second summon but alas nothing. Otherwise the mod works as intended as far as I can tell.
Edit: So in messing around with other mods I have discovered that the potions only show up once it would seem on the first summon of the chest. Regardless if you take them out or not. At this point I am not sure if this is a bug or not.
Yeah, i dont have set it to re spawn. What i generally do (now that i figured out how in the toolkit) Is just increase the number of said potion. Like by 10. Any particular potion and number i can interest you in?
I use the +45kg potion and -25kg potions (I use imperial weights) as for potion numbers I would think 25 of each would give someone enough potions to set their character weights to their liking. This all started because I couldn't believe Shadowheart's weight is 150lbs (68kg) when ~100lbs (45kg) seems more realistic for her body type. I also use another mod to enlarge my MC so making them weigh a lot more was a nice bonus.
I do hope that you eventually figure out how to make everything respawn as I feel that in the long term a lot more people are going to be asking for that. Thanks for the reply either way.
Yeah it would be easier for sure, to just have them re spawn. 100% agree. When i got it figured out,i will update these mods with the respawn version :).
For People having issues getting the Potion to appear in the chest. When starting new Game.
Here is what you need to do.
1 You need to go in game and start up a new game in the tutorial area and make a clean unmodded save here. I recommend saving before you climb up the two walls towards shadow hearts cell.
2 Close the game then you go back out to vortex and install the mods you want. Then restart the game. Then load up the unmoded save in the tutorial area with the mods active.
Does this also change your animations from a light character like BT2 to BT4 if you adjust it that way? Like in my case I really like how half-orcs/dragonborn hold greatswords with 1 hand but hate that half-elves hold it with 2 since it clips a lot with modded weapons.
Unfortunately not. You see different body types have different animations, as you pointed out. This doesn't really change animations. It only affects character weight, which was more intended to allow more customization of your character. It could be that strong body types has their own animations that the lighter body types doesn't support and vice versa. But that i dont know for sure just yet.
I think the only impact this mod has, game play wise. Is things that are affected by weight. Like certain actions, lifting and carrying /throwing someone. This does depend on weight also.
About to give this a try since starting a new game, an idea that would be nice though is an all-in-one version of the mod also with all the potions. Great idea with the mod tho!!! About to give it a try.
I'll definitely be trying them out whenever you do lol got your mod page added to my bg3 bookmark folder and always looking through newly posted mods so one way or another lol and thanks for responding! I don't know much about modding besides how to add them and how to remove mod fixer lol but downloading them individually isn't a complicated process like adding them together in one sounds like it would be lol so yea I can just grab em as is.
I didn't really find any good way to get all into one file. I tried many different methods and tricks, but it seems that this is not intended to be.
For example i cant make it all in one project, i cant add more than 1 item per project compilation into the chest. meaning i cant just add the potions in together. Same project name (public and secret) leads to overwriting each other etc.
So i had to settle for the previous solution. But they've all been improved in terms of no longer needing to take a slot on the UI. Added some more weight options etc.

The potion should appear in the chest then
I tested this method myself and it worked.

So look out for those!
