Recent changes: - You can now give the Strange Gem to another party member or drop it and any statuses causing pending spawns will also be removed. - AI behavior has been changed a bit to help prevent AI-run companions from getting stuck attacking statues. When petrified, AI will ignore the Weeping Angel, but when not petrified, companions will still treat it as an enemy.
This is without a doubt the coolest mod that I will never play with. I am a big ole wuss. I know better than to mess with weeping angels. Awesome mod though, wish I had the stones to try it out. Ur still getting an endorsement from me.
Is there an explanation as to why the Weeping Angels still appear, even though I left the stone in the camp chest until I have a few levels more? The stone is in the camp chest, yet just a few minutes ago during a fight with those goblins in the underground tunnel by the druid grove, a portal still appeared?
EDIT: Well, for some reason it stopped doing what I mentioned. It has not happened again.
It's a Deva (Banite) model that petrifies if you look at it. Most of my mods lack previews because they aren't generally visually unique enough to justify them. I do gameplay stuff, and that is hard to translate into screenshots, sorry.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear non-subjective view point, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey...stuff. ... ... Creatures from another world. Only when you see them. Lonely assassins they used to be called. No one quite knows where they came from but they're as old as the universe...or very nearly. And they have survived this long because they have the most perfect defense system ever evolved. They're quantum locked. They don't exist when they're being observed, the moment they are seen by any other living creature they freeze into rock. No choice, it's a fact of their biology. In the sight of any living thing they literally turn to stone. And you can't kill a stone. Of course, a stone can't kill you either, but then you turn your head away. Then you blink. And oh yes it can. That's why they cover their eyes. They're not weeping, they can't risk looking at each other. Their greatest asset is their greatest curse. They can never been seen. Loneliest creatures in the universe. And I'm sorry, I'm very very sorry. It's up to you now. The blue box, it's my time machine. There is a world of time energy in there they could feast on forever, but the damage they could do could switch off the sun. You have got to send it back to me. And that's it, I'm afraid. There's no more from you on the transcript, that's the last I've got. I don't know what stopped you talking, but I can guess. They're coming. The angels are coming for you.
But listen, your life could depend on this.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away, and don't blink. Good luck.
There is a 20d6 timer. Once that runs out, pretty much guaranteed to show. Ran into scripting issues, so this was a no-script workaround that shouldn't trigger NPC aggro because it is combat-only.
I wanted them to be fairly consistent, but not predictable, and able to follow you throughout the game.

That said, levels won't help much. These one-shot you regardless. They were made to be the "Big Scary".
Again.

(I had to just type this up when I saw the mod.)
What happens when a Weeping Angel looks in the mirror?
I think I just came up with a custom item idea for an add-on to rp these guys, lol
