The new update to Blessing of Deities is so much more fun! Descriptions are really helpful too.
I do recommend not adding certain spells to Blessings since you can give them to enemies that do not have an animation when using them.
An example I ran into was in the Nautiloid at the first fight with an Imp that received a Blinding Smite from a Blessing. It did not have an animation when using Blinding Smite and just stood there for a long while before dealing damage.
Are the added encounters and bosses fully listed in the main description on the mod page, or is there more information available? It would be great if there was a list or a map showing where all the new encounters are located.
Would it be safe to switch from Deadlier Honour Mode Full to the No Boss - OG Version? I can't tell which pack is the "Slightly Deadlier Honor Mode" version.
I like the increased difficulty, and I like additions such as random new Hook horrors in the shadowlands, but adding massively story changing boss fights like Halsin even though he's standing in my camp 5 feet away, and a "gaint" titan-size Steel Watcher Assassin really bothers me, and I didn't realize this mod adds things like that until very late into my game as it's not mentioned anywhere in the description, and unlike all the other added enemies, are compeltely unavoidable.
Removing an Item or enemy will corrupt your save file, If you want to not have those two specific encounters, remove deadlier honour mode then use only boss pack 1 and 2 but it needs a new save or a save before installation of the main deadlier honour mode.
I really like the idea of Blessing of Deities but not knowing what passive buff comes where is really confusing. There's no description on the Blessings themselves which makes it really confusing what's coming from where.
Also the Nautiloid might be impossible with Deities enabled haha.
I'm not a balancer but I think making the Blessings more powerful but less frequent would be better to not fill the UI too fast. So instead of a new Blessing every 5% of Max Health, it could be a new Blessing every 20% of Max Health but with super powered Blessings! That's my idea anyway.
Will add that the compatability with other difficulty mods is working very well! I used it together with Skeletal Challenge mod and it played cleanly with the new Skeletal Enemies it summoned. New enemy buffs working as expected!
Came to second this. Because nearly ALL mobs will have a -blessing- that appear to do the same thing, maybe call it one thing and make it less frequent while buffing the ability to whoever receives it. This has definitely made my current play through interesting though.
Is there a way to disable the animation for the enemies when they receiving the deities blessings? If not would be a cool feature to add. Also the music with the new version seems to change even without the music packs.
Not sure if anyone has ran into the same bug. But with the Deity update, any enemy that get's bane's blessing transforms into Gortash. Just ran into 4 Gortashes in one encounter.
Does the new version (Deities) have new music? I want to keep the original bg3 music, but it's different after updating. I don't have any music pack installed btw :c
