I always hated how the textures in some otherwise nice in-game horns looked very plastic and artificial, so I modified them to my liking. This mod replaces the vanilla textures of certain horn sets (pictured in the gallery) with edited ones in my attempt to make them look less like a cheap Halloween costume prop and more like... well, horns.
This mod only overhauls the textures of some horn sets, but I might eventually get around to doing all of them if I feel the need to. This mod only affects the vanilla horn sets (used both by the player character and NPCs) and any other modded horn sets that use the vanilla materials (like Alternate Horns for Tieflings); it doesn't affect anything else, and shouldn't conflict with any other mods.
HOW TO INSTALL (AND UNINSTALL) There are two versions: a replacer, and a .pak file. You could technically have both of them installed, but I recommend using only one. To install the Replacer (loose files) version: copy the Generated folder you get in the .zip, and then drop it into C:/Program Files (x86)/Baldurs Gate 3/Data, or if your game is installed with Steam, C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data. To uninstall the Replacer (loose files) version: Simply delete the Generated folder. If you have any other files and want to remove this mod only, the filepath is Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Tieflings\_Horns\Resources.
To install the .pak version: Download the .zip file, extract it, drop the .pak file onto the BG3MM, move it to the Active Mods column, and you're done! To uninstall the .pak version: Simply move the mod to the Inactive Mods column or delete it. If installing this mod with the in-game mod manager, download the .zip file, extract it, drop the .pak file in %LocalAppData%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods, and enable this mod in-game.
