Hello! I love your mod, on my first run it helped a lot having ranged attacks for my druid and warlock. The problem now is on my second run, the duck that should have the wands is empty when i summon the chest and i can't seem to find a solution to this. If you could help me, thanks <3
I had the wands on a play through and loved it. started a new game and installed update and mods and the chest in tutorial chest is empty. I moved the pak up and down the load order with no success. I am guessing another mod is messing with your mod.
Can you provide a UUID to us script extended to spawn the wands? thank you
Edit: I think i have figured out whats happening. If you have the Tutorial Chest mod, where the chest is in in the camp supply chest... and look in the wand box there, the box is empty. But if you open the tutorial chest directly at the beginning of the tutorial, the wands are in the wand box in there....at least for me. Not sure if because of an issue with this mod or the other mod, Either way, hope this helps you.
Hi, thank you for your effort first. But I have a problem with the beginning. when I summon Tutorial Box, there's a wooden duck named extra wand weapons but it's empty. Did I do something wrong?
Did you upload the wrong file at some point? My zip has Extra Radiant Weapons in it and BG3MM is saying Extra Wand Weapons is missing.
Also I'm not sure if it's this mod but putting wands in the ranged slot causes some NPCs, like Gale, to hold the weapon up to their face and it clips through their head. I have several wand mods so it may not actually be yours.
Thanks, that was fast, I'll try tomorrow. Question, about the new mods you're adding (for example thunder weapons) during the a playthrough. You placed them at specific locations or they appear completely random ? If I already opened a container where you placed a item, can I still get it ?
They are placed in specific locations. As to your second question I honestly don't know. I had one user report that they did not spawn in containers they had already been in, but that may also be because he had not done a long rest. There is always the option to get the items from the tutorial chest if you can't find them.
Can you make them Light so we can dual wield them instead? This guy did an update on his mod that implement the range weapon slot just like yours, but were able to dual wield https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/5458?tab=files
Logically speaking I understand it would make sense for the wands to be light, but I also think it wouldn't make sense to dual-wield wands. I'm very satisfied with the way the wands work now, so I'm not going to make them light, sorry!
Thank you so much for making them for the ranged weapon slots! Finally, I don’t have to worry about Jaheira not being able to use bows! They’re beautiful and effective, too. I gave them to Jaheira, Gale, and Wyll. So happy! Thank you!
