This mod adds 12 wands as a new type of weapon. Wands go in the ranged weapon slot and use your spellcasting ability to make ranged attacks. Every wand uses a specific damage type for it's attacks and gives a bonus to all spells of that damage type.

The base game offers little to no weapons for spell casters to use their spell casting ability, which to be fair does make sense. But wouldn't it be great to have some more options? This mod adds 12 wands to solve that problem. 10 wands are very rare and 2 are legendary. All of the wands spawn naturally in the world as loot, but they can also be found in the tutorial chest for those who want it. I consider these weapons to be quite strong, that's why they're mostly late game loot. Getting them from the tutorial chest will make the game unbalanced and might make your experience less fun.
Currently all spells have the same passive but for different damage types and they all have the same weapon action. That weapon action is called channeling, which is brace, but for wands. I might revisit the mod at a later time to add fully unique and/or more lore accurate wands if there seems to be demand for it.
Note: The weapons may only spawn after a long rest and may only spawn in unopened containers.
