What is this mod?
Adapt to survive. This mod adds a background that gives you the ability to grow stronger and stronger via any type of stimulus. Fail a roll? Next time you will be better at it, Get hit? Your AC, health, regeneration, and damage reduction based on damage type will increase. Get applied with a status in a white listed status group? You will remove it faster and faster the more you are inflicted by it. Miss and attack or not do much damage? You will have a greater hit chance and damage amount next time.
Become a one man army by throwing yourself at the toughest people around.
If this sounds too overpowered you would be right! While it can be OP you can also use MCM to control how fast you adapt to everything. It is completely up to you if you want to be stronger than the gods by the end of act 1, or just slightly stronger than the average person.
Issues
- I was not able to test multiplayer during my testing so please let me know if/how it works. My gut reaction is it will need some work to work properly in multiplayer but please report your experience.
- Some statuses will need blacklisting. Please report if a particular status is causing issues by being adapted to.

1. Universal Armour Fixer - fixes a base game issue with statuses being lost on reloading a save. Since adapter makes heavy use of statuses it may break without this.
