For me specifically (but others may have similar issues) I use a magic mirror tattoo overlay and UTAV but on some custom races I can't get the bodies to display the right options so I have to edit them in the magic mirror tattoo mod overlay (that doesn't work when creating my character) to add them, don't want to meet other characters and suddenly later on something that's part of my backstory just appears from nowhere when I should have always had it.
Like for example of why I want the mirror immediately is I had a version of the Aasimar mod where I didn't want the cracks int he skin because I didn't like the bulky body type normal map but still wanted my character to have silver markings on their body but no bulky normal maps so I had to add them in game as tattooes through settings which swap out the original body with a body I can put body overlays onto without the crackles (that mod version comes with the magic mirror tattoo mod built in but still only for the mirror itself)
Also sometimes you edit them in that start screen and actually there are one or two things that just don't quite look right once your in game but you don't want to have to start new again and try and remember (go through the hassle of writing them all down) all the sliders, spells etc you picked.
@ Qarbone Because it beats RE-making that same character via restarting, but now with different [insert feature name] because it looked nice close up but annoys you from full camera distance, or because now that you're looking at in different lighting you suddenly don't like the colour. If I had a monkey for every game in which I wanted to RE-make a character's looks less than 5 minutes after creating it I'd have more monkeys than Edwin could insult in a minute.
Spell is greyed out and does nothing when I select it.
EDIT: Nvm it was tucked away in another spell called Utility Spells with some others, probably because of DIQ patches or something? Reinstalling also made the normal spell usable again too.
Personally I wouldn't use the DIQ collection. The author, for some reason, uses some mods that are massively out of date and case the game to become unstable. If you try to alter it with some extra mods it gets weird at times too.

Pretty sure the body variants on the unique tav page contains less toned Aasimar normals and so the genital fixes by Kitthaven will too.
