About this mod
Ever wanted goodberry to actually be useful? now it is! gives 20 camp supplies (each) heals for 1d6 and automatically gets added to the hotbar.
- Permissions and credits
the 1d6 instead of 1d4 per goodberry is because at 1d4 it was literally useless as a healing spell since in literally every possible situation you would have access to better sources of healing whether that be potions or spells or otherwise and now its more in line with a basic low level healing spell
the increase to camp supplies is because of 2 (3ish?) things
1 is that the 5E spell description of goodberry explicitly states "and the berry provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day." which is literally why I took the spell on my first playthrough assuming that it would you know do that thing that is the whole reason the spell exists in D&D and not only its side benefit and its also a nice way to effectively remove the camp supplies minigame without just outright removing content like some mods that avoid the minigame do (which is the 3rd ish reason) and number
2 is that it's a good way to actually distinguish it from other healing spells while not diminishing either it or the other spell's function (lateral progression and all) by giving an interesting tradeoff of "well i can either use this goodberry now for in combat healing or save it for camp supplies later" since you need all 4 goodberries to fully supply a night of rest
compatibility?
works with everything that does not modify the goodberry spell
patch 7?
was made after patch 7s release so heck yeah it works with patch 7!
uninstall friendly?
yup! fully tested and its ok to uninstall mid playthrough (:
