If you want to have these styles available in the character creator, you can find them and several more in my other mod Shadowheart Lets Her Hair Down it also has experimental Metallic accessory versions of this hair! I can make you a custom replacer over on that mod if you prefer the metallic look, don't be afraid to ask.
DLSS is known to cause problems with baldness / the scalp on some hairstyles, these ones included. There isn't anything I can do about it unfortunately, it's DLSS that needs some adjustments :( If you're having scalp issues, try turning DLSS off.
I'm sorry I'm not sure what the culprit may be, I can't replicate the issue on my end :( It's likely some setting effecting it, there is a chance there could be some sort of mod conflict happening but I'm not sure what it could be. I wish I could help more D:
I dont have any Shadowheart related mods, I had a one loose file to fix her hair clipping but I removed it but that didnt fix the issue. No custom textures or even unique tav, could Trips Shaders affect the scalp?
Edit: My bad, I forgot I added Really Shadowheart mod in preparation for patch 8. Without it the scalp came back but now her hair accessories are silver colored.
It's got to be something in the graphical or display settings I'd imagine, or a not-so-obvious mod conflict, if you wanted to share your modlist I could see if any stand out to me!

I was thinking... would it be possible to hard-code the white hair color into the act III hairstyle to get around this? Just make it so its always white instead of being able to change colors so the portrait works since its not like players can select the hair.
Just an idea to fix that issue because thats my real complaint with this feature is that they never fixed the portrait
I agree it’s really odd they didn’t fix it! I don’t know anything about how portraits work sadly so wouldn’t know where to begin on fixing it. I might do a little research and see if I can crack it though!
If you use Appearance Edit for Origin characters any change you do to them with show in their portrait as well. Even so, the lighting in her portrait is designed for black hair so it wont look that good with white hair. (there is also a mod to change the background if you dont like the purple, maybe one for lighting too but havent explored that part yet)
Hello, i have used the after act 2 replacer. Shart just showed up with the white hair. The shar metal hair piece is gone, but it looks like the leather straps have the old shar chains clipping through them. Used the BG3 MM, and don't have any other shadowheart hair mods installed. Any ideas?

Thank you! The first thing I would try, would be to load my mod absolutely last in the load order. If this doesn't solve the issue, I would try loading your save with the other shadowheart mods disabled one at a time to see if one is the culprit, sometimes incompatibilities can pop up where we least expect them! Let me know how you go!
After testing load order, then messing with turning mods off. Im 99% sure its Really Shadowheart romance mod. I didn't see it listed in what the mod does, but if you save nightsong, that mod seems to remove the big shar hair clip on her colored hair. My bad! Really Shadowheart modifies files though, so I would have to delete the game and redownload. Im on poop internet, so ill just roll without your beautiful mod. Thank you!
Hi! I love this mod and have a question. Is it safe to swap between styles in the same playthrough? For example, I downloaded Replacer A Style 2, and Replacer B Style 3, but I would like to have Replacer B Style 2 instead. Can I do this or will it bork my save?
EDIT: I decided to risk it and check. My save is fine but Shart still has Replacer B Style 3 (despite replacing it with B Style 2)- it seems to be a permanent change. I tried fiddling with the load order to see if that fixed it but she still had Style 3. Oh well, no big deal :)
I personally haven't had any issues changing them mis-save, you may need to remove them, export, open the game and make a new save, then quit, add the new styles you want, export, then open the game again. Let me know how it goes <3
Wanted to know if it was possible to just place the mod in /data/ to function! I'm using BG3s built in MM and I'm unable to find this mod and don't want to download vortex or another MM to get this to work. Is it possible to just drop it in? Thanks a bunch!

Unfortunately no because I have to include a change to the character appearance file to change the material of her hair accessories to leather and when it’s a pak, it can coexist with the existing character file, but if installed loose it will overwrite it and you’ll get invisible npcs across the whole game xD
you could drop the .pak into your mods folder in the larian appdata folder (that’s where mods are after patch 7) and it should work fine, but I’ve not tested this so I can’t say for sure if it will.

I'm glad you like it! That may be something to ask SunnyGrassy to add to their mod, I don't want to take away from their downloads too much! The leather accessory hair model is in the game files as cut content, I'm sure you could ask them to make a version of it with their bangs! For the record, I did alter Shart's bangs in my version of this hairstyle to be fuller and less flat, but I didn't change the side bits!
You're an angel! I've always haaaated her derpy straight bangs and wanted to replace them with the prettier side bangs, sans Shar decoration. Out of curiosity, do you know if it's possible to change the color of the new leather braid ties? I've only ever seen them in that brown color on other mods, as well.
I'm so glad you like it! I've experimented with changing the color, I managed to make them a somewhat okay looking metallic color which you can see pictures of in my other mod Shadowheart Lets Her Hair Down , but it's not perfect and I wanted to keep this mod as simple as possible. I can definitely make you a custom replacer over on that mod if you do like the metallic look! just drop a comment there with your request if you end up wanting one!
Ohhh I see that now! The metallic silver is SO pretty!! And it really suits both versions of her. I don't think any of us would consider it "not perfect" :) The only reason I wouldn't pick that mod over this one is because a lot of folks seem to be having issues with Appearance Edit Enhanced on Patch 7 :/ Maybe once that mod gets an update I'll give your other mod a try. Thank you!
I can make you a replacer version over on that mod that is not reliant on appearance edit enhanced! The miscellaneous files section has standalone replacers ^_^ just let me know which style or styles you want and what hair you want it to replace (her act 1-2 hair or her act 3 hair, or both!)
By no means do you have to do this, I'm just curious: would it be possible to un-shar shart's hairstyle only after she makes that particularly important decision in act 2?
Replacer B does exactly that! If you only download one of the Replacer B styles, she will have her regular hair up until that important decision, and then Replacer B will come in!

Any idea what could be the reason? My settings are maxed.
Borderless or Windowed didnt help either.
