In what way do you mean? It overwrites the martial arts damage with the new damage dice for quartertstaffs, which is intentional. Or do you mean it's broken in another way that I haven't seen?
This is at level one before you've chosen the subclass? Wow okay, I'll need to take a look at this. Can't see why that's happening as I don't overwrite the original skill
What's the spell that looks like Hex in your hotbar by the way? I assume that's just an unrelated mod addition?
At the moment, I've just restarted and gone to the same battle as in your screenshots and don't have the same issue, so can't reproduce it. Sounds silly, but have your tried attacking once to see if it resets the tooltip and/or if the actual damage caused is correct to what it should be or the same as the tooltip?
that's the ployamory mod thingy that fixes bugs caused by romancing multiple characters at the same time. I also just tested hitting things but it does 1 damage with unarmed + dex mod.
Yeah I figured it would be something that doesn't interfere. Weird that I can't reproduce this, as it doesn't sound like there's anything special going on with your set up. Are you on the latest Patch?
Just wanted to hop in and say that I get the same issue. Deft Strikes seem completely broken with the mod installed. :( Makes me sad because it looks fun as hell to play. Any plans to update it or are you still not getting the same error?
*EDIT* It seems like it fixes itself when you reach lvl 3, select the subclass and then I think I unequipped my staff and equipped it again? Some features from other monk mods are still broken but that makes sense, at least flurry of blows and unarmed strike works like this :)
Did not expect to have as much fun with this mod as I had, this subclass seemed pretty basic but this combination of a Battle Master Fighter + Way of the Open Hand Monk turned out to be alot more fun than I would've thought, there's alot of good item combos to take advantage of with this subclass and it's refreshing to not use Tavern Brawler on a monk for once.
I've noticed some issues though, some abilities Attack Rolls seem to use your Unarmed Attack Roll bonuses for some reason? For example the Flurry of Blows says you're attacking with your quarterstaff, yet the animation uses unarmed attacks and I noticed it wasn't using my quarterstaff's attack rolls bonuses since it was noticeably harder to hit enemies considering I didnt have Tavern Brawler, same issue with Channeling of Spirit, the chances to hit with that move was always lower than my normal attack which I didnt understand why.

This mod seems to break the Martial Arts: Deft Strikes.

This is a screenshot of what I mean, it disables all added damage to unarmed attacks.

I used to enjoy playing the Friar in an old MMORPG called Dark Age of Camelot.
A staff fighter who could heal and buff a little, he also had effects in his staff attacks.
This comes close to that. If you could combine this with a few healing spells, it would be pretty nice.
But for now, thanks for the mod. Monk with staff has always been kind of special I think.
Best regards
