Hey, I like this mod. So much so that LillyBird and I included it in Listonomicon. "Listo" is a Wabbajack-powered mod list, that works almost identically to Nexus Collections but uses a community alternative to Vortex to help users download mods from Nexus, put them in the correct order, and prepare their game to play. No mods are repacked, stolen, or distributed directly - users are still directed here, just like with Collections, to download from your Nexus page and ensure you are given the proper download credit.
Due to confusion over what Wabbajack is and what it does, users at the Down By The River community encouraged me to give a courtesy "heads up" to the authors whose work is included in Listonomicon. And to assure them that per Listonomicon's install instructions, users are explicitly told to direct their bug reports issues to us first as mod authors (like you) don't want to deal with being inundated with help requests or bug reports from users with 300+ active mods.
You can read a little more about our project on Github, though the preferred way to access Listonomicon is via the Wabbajack gallery. A list of all included mods are here. A synopsis of the philosophy of Listo and what we are trying to accomplish (and avoid) can be found in our Whitepaper on the first two pages, and is elaborated starting page 17 "List Philosophy."
If you have any concern about your mod being included in Listonomicon (which is still downloaded from this page, and credits you as the author), please send me a message via Nexus's PM mail. I'm not sure how to get notifications if someone has replied to a comment.
Welp, I've only just updated my game (Steam) to Hotfix #23 today, reinstalled* ALL my mods (regardless if they were updated or not for Hotfix #23, and also did another 'Save Order' and 'Export Order to Game' via BG3ModManager, for safe measure), and everything is still working perfect, woohoo! \o/ ♥ (* = I only ever do Manual installs/uninstalls. I don't use Vortex/MO2.)
Can confirm that 'Baldur's Priority - CPU Performance FPS Optimizer' is still working with current/latest game Hotfix #23.
I'm actually quite surprised none of the mods I use were needing of updates (for Hotfix #23), specially the ones that normally get updated with every Patch or Hotfix. Nice. :)
(Note: With the exception of BG3 Script Extender, which did in fact get updated [2024 March 29].)
I can see from the sticky that this mod has received a lot of praise, however, for me personally, it literally wreaked havoc on my game causing it to stutter, freeze up, crash and would barely run at a snails pace. It also increased my load times by a substantial amount and caused cutscene audio to desync.
After disabling this mod then relaunching the game everything is back to running fine again. I installed it just hoping that it would help with load times as I am running the game off an old spin up hard drive.
Also, this comment is not intended as an attack on the mod author. I'm just offering my experience as a separate data point for anyone considering it. I realize from the description that all this mod intends to do is force the BG3 app to start in a "high priority" state. Regardless, for me the result of running this mod made my game an unplayable mess.
My overall takeaway is mods of this category likely have a lot to do with individual systems and this is why it's best to install and test one mod at a time.
Note for devs or anyone else reading this: This is already replied to on my mod page. It is not a problem with CPU Optimizer (just a generic winapi api failure which cannot be reconciled; can be ignored).
Just updated my (Steam) game to Hotfix #19 that Larian just dropped today. Reinstalled* ALL of my mods. Everything (including this mod) is working fine for me (game starts up fine/no crashes/no bugs noticed as of yet). (*=Note: I only ever do Manual install/uninstall; I don't use Vortex/MO2)
List of mods that I use currently and are working with Hotfix#19:
Achievement Enabler Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer Baldur's Priority - CPU Performance FPS Optimizer BG3 Script Extender BG3ModManager Native Mod Loader
Camp Event Notifications Carry Weight Increased - Up To Over 9000 Finesse Longswords Highlight (Almost) All Native Camera Tweaks Spells Enhanced - Guidance
Aether's Black Dye Demon's Simple Dyes Extra Dyes for the Fashionable Folk of Faerun Peko
If you are using any of these mods I have listed above, and your game is updated to Hotfix #19, and you are still having problems (with only these mod I have listed), reinstall ALL your mods, especially BG3 Script Extender, Native Mod Loader, Achievement Enabler. After a Patch/Hotfix update, sometimes just simply reinstalling all your mods can fix things.
Also...if you use BG3 Mod Manager, do another 'Save Order' and 'Export Order to Game' just to be double-sure.
If you are using ANY mods that require BG3 Script Extender, your game will not start. Hotfix #18 has broken BG3 Script Extender and will still require an update, as of writing this post.
Avoid updating to Hotfix #18. Or...rollback to Patch 6 if you can, *IF* you want to keep using mods that require BG3 Script Extender.
Yep, I just mentioned BG3SE because sometimes some people can have a bugged mod, but then point blame to another different mod, and this mod is usually always working fine even through Patches/Hotfixes. :)
Does anyone mind explaining to me how to do this? Or make a youtube video for a poor soul who is confused? I followed the instructions correctly (I believe) but bg3 still forces me to run bg3 in the lowest settings in ultra performance and even then i lag or glitch behind from time to time no matter if im in singleplayer or multiplayer. I use MM but i followed the instructions and ive been using the injector and watcher but neither seem to have an affect.

WOW , I'm absolutely blown away by so many stunning responses the mod received in just its first day!
Thank you all so much for the amazing support! 🤗

Everything still works fine, on Patch 6.
Luckly, this mod doesn't require BG3 Script Extender.
Everything works fine on the Hotfix#18
