    im wondering if this is a mod conflict on my end but ive noticed its works perfectly on everyone at the mirror but when any of my dragonborn characters go to respec at withers the game crashes. if i save b4, uninstall this mod, make a new save without the mod then respec at withers all good. then reinstall the mod and go back to the mirrior works just fine.any ideas on what might be causing this?

    hello, i was curious about how this mod handles doing the thing! does it add a trait to characters upon creation, and then you use the magic mirror afterwards? since i installed it mid-game, i went to the magic mirror to check and couldn't find anything adding the scales. is there maybe a UUID or something to add the trait to characters? (and how do i do that- or do you not know? i do have cheatengine since i was trying to figure something out desperately per character affinity because of playing multiplayer and the character only gains/loses affinity for whoever is controlling them, but anyway-)

      It adds a passive feature, but it doesn't work on Dragonborn. 3rd screenshot shows the passive.

      This does modify the Race file so if you have another mod that does that it will conflict. You can use the BG3 script extender console to add it (I think). This should work, but I haven't tested it.

      For Dragonborn
      Osi.AddPassive(GetHostCharacter(), "DraconicScales_Cosmetic_DGB")

      For all other races:
      Osi.AddPassive(GetHostCharacter(), "DraconicScales_Cosmetic")

      i thought i had commented but i think it didn't go through, sorry! that or i had a hard ADHD moment and forgot to click submit- LMAO
      no worries, i realized what was happening! i'm playing multiplayer and wanted to install the mod for my friend but i chose to play an aasimar so it wasn't applying to the mod, which i didn't realize bc pea-sized brain (like i legit forgor i was using a mod race not a vanilla one lmasdfa), which is fine - my friend informed me it was working for them! thank you for the other thingything command thing, though. does it work with modded races, too? not that i need it too, just curious. and thank you for the mod! i love it!

      I have the same issue. I can add the passive through the console, but no options in the character creator.

      EDIT: Okay it seems to be conflicting with the mod I was using called Elf Unleashed which adds certain perks/feats to the elf race. I suspect that it also conflict with the other "race" Unleashed mods.

    For some reason the passive does not show up on my dragonborn character but shows up on all other companions

    Not showing up on Dragonborn.

    If that's intentional, I'd like to happily inform you that Draconic Sorc scales allows for additional scale patterns on Dragonborns.

      The Dragonborn use different passives as a Draconic Sorcerer so to add them I would need to create another passive just for them, so that's one reason why I left them out. I also don't ever play Dragonborn. Took me quite some time to get this to work, so not sure if I'll take the time to add Dragonborn or not.

      I'm working on an update now. Had to start from scratch because I lost my original project in the BG3 Toolkit, but I've learned some things since I first released this so it's going much faster now. Plus I already knew what I needed to do and didn't have to do a bunch of trial and error. So adding Dragonborn and update should be done shortly.

    Would there be a way to make it so this mod doesn't conflict with race mods?

    Hmmm, my Dark Urge didn't get the passive. Karlach didn't get it either. Everyone else (so far) got it.

    EDIT: Forgot to say my DUrge is a Tiefling as well, maybe you forgot to add it to them.

      If Dark Urge is Dragonborn, they will not get it (kind of figured that would be redundant). I'll look into why Karlach may not have gotten it. Should have worked since I added it to Tieflings, but perhaps I need to add it to the subraces as well. Pretty new to modding BG3 so not surprised if I missed something.

      EDIT: Looks like I missed Tieflings. I'll have an update soon. Thank you for letting me know! :)

      Uploaded a fixed version but Nexus is being wonky so I'm not seeing the new version yet. I'll wait a bit and check and see if it shows up before attempting to upload it again.

      No problem. I wasn't happy with the tattoos, so just kept trying to get this to work.
