    22/04/2025 - My updated version of ImpUI for Patch 8 (approved by Djmr) should release soon and fix the background icons problem. It should be available on the official ImpUI Nexus page.
    Like Djmr, I don't plan to maintain it actively.

    Hey, I ended up with the weird vanilla 'a member of your party is not ready' bug when I try to change areas, meaning the game wont let me fast travel to the waypoint you get after using the spelljammer scroll. Do you happen to know something like a console command to teleport to the content? Or maybe the trigger that starts it so I can teleport with easycheat.

    So a few questions here; 1) Do we need ImpUI anymore for this mod? 2) Not sure if it's my mod loading order but I am using ImpUI(Patch 8 Slim) version and icons are not loading for me. I am assuming it's a load order perhaps Or should I remove ImpUI completely? Since other modmakers have been telling me that you don't need it anymore for there mods.

      You don't need ImpUI anymore BUT the base game can't manage/handle custom background icons. I have already reported the problem in Larian official discord + bug report.

      Some news: I have found a fix for the icons, but it should only work with Patch 8 because it's a very specific UI fix specific to Patch 8, I plan to publish the fix soon

    This has been an amazing inclusion to my base playthroughs i love it sm!! Are there other things u plan on incorporating from spellajammer to this mod? Would love to see playable astral elves or plasmoids as an inclusion to this! Keep up the amazing work, so excited for more updates to come!

      Unfortunatly I do not plan to add playable spelljammer races. Maybe I will add new content to the mod later. And I continue bug fixes for this mod. But it is not anymore my main concern right now because I prioritize a big mod project in a big team and I provide some help to other modders. And I continue the search for a stable job if I don't want to starve lol.

    hello. I have a problem that I haven't been able to fix for a long time: no matter what version of your mod I install, no matter what I do, I delete mods or not, but it's with your mod that the game refuses to start for me. Everything worked on patch 7, but only the version without the minimap. I can't figure out what's the matter. What should I do about it?

      - Try to delete the level cache "%AppData%\..\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\LevelCache"
      - Try to delete "%AppData%\..\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx"
      - Try to repair/verify file integrity of the game with Steam/GoG (or fully reinstall the game to have a clean Patch8 game without all the old update files & packages)
      - Don't use Vortex, use the unofficial BG3MM
      - Maybe some solutions on Larian forums: https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=948735

      I think the mod works with Patch 8 but I need to test everything again to confirm.
      I know for sure that custom background icons no longer show up in the character creation screen because they were handled by ImpUI and Larian doesn't seem to have addressed this issue with Patch 8 (despite implementing many features of the now obsolete ImpUI).
