I feel like tagging them as Oath of Vengeance makes it difficult to actually RP as an oath of conquest. One of the biggest examples of conquest is siding with the goblins and killing the tieflings and now you suddenly lose your oath because you... chose to conquer the druid grove
I'm aware of it, using it is both fiddly and Script Extender-dependent. Neither of which I enjoy. There's a reason that nobody's using it for any of the other Paladin mods lol.
Glad to see another Oath of Conquest mod, seems like the author of the existing one is on hiatus and I’m not sure if they’ll be maintaining it going forward.
I like your first level feature, but it feels pretty powerful. Maybe add a save to the frighten but give advantage to the attack to compensate, or lower the duration to 2 turns? Frightened is a really powerful condition in this game so the 1st level feature might end up feeling stronger than the 3rd level channel oath since that one cuts into your action economy and requires a save.
Made some changes to Conqueror's Retort, Frighten now needs a save, and the attack criteria has been widened to include any attack made in melee range instead of just melee attacks.
I'd definitely like to make Redemption, but Aura of the Guardian would have to be reworked. I made Conquest because I was confident I could do it just as well mechanically as Havs did for their version, if I did Redemption it would be lesser.
We both followed the rules as written very closely. Aside from our level 1 abilities being completely different, and their version having custom starting armor & a dye, the other differences are very minor implementation stuff.

Is there any reason you couldn't try to use this to allow us a way to actually roleplay the conquest paladin as well?

As for the other Oath of Conquest, the author will be back, they always are. It just might take a bit.
